Finally, Lost returns. Seems like it's been forever. Season 5 is scheduled to return on January 21st with a three hour season premiere. The first hour will be a clip show then the next two hours will be new, back to back episodes. The show will air on Wednesdays at 9pm.
Anyone remember how season 4 ended?

As to how Season 4 ended...
I do remember seeing
But there were the familiar touches: Sawyer is back in fine form, calling the doomed Neil "Frogurt" (only God knows why), and spouting out memorable lines like, "Shut it, Ginger, or you're next!" A dead castaway makes a surprise appearance, and there's a wonderful bit where Hurley is pretty well explaining everything that happened to the castaways since the plane crash--and it's obvious the producers had fun with how crazy it all sounds. And it is crazy. Ain't it grand?
Very entertaining, but I can't help but wonder if mainstream America will understand, much less embrace, the show's...
Given my tastes I've always liked that aspect of the show but I wonder how it will fare ratings-wise if it gets pushed more to the forefront.
One last thing, how cool was the flaming arrow attack?
As to why her nose was bleeding, I'm pretty sure Desmond and one of the crewmembers of the freighter Kahana had some of the same symptoms in The Constant. In their case, I think it had something to do with their consciousness traveling thru time. The crewmember eventually died but Desmond was able to survive with Faraday's help by finding someone that existed in both time periods to use as an anchor (in his case, Penny).
Its also interesting to note that Charlotte seemed to be suffering from memory loss (she told Faraday she couldn't remember her mother's name at one point) and if I recall correctly, Faraday had some of the same symptoms when we first met him, suggesting he's been tripping thru time as well.
Yup, that's her. I also remember her saying something about she hasn't had nosebleeds since she was a child. That's why I jokingly mentioned the Benjamin Button thing. But I also forgot about the past episodes of people with nosebleeds. It'll be interesting to see how things play out. One other thing I just remembered. I wonder how they'll kill Locke, and when it will happen. That is of course if Locke is really dead. When Ben was asked if Locke was dead, Ben avoided the question.
in my country we still waiting 4 season 4 to begin
Welcome to AJB Zeena. We have a thread devoted to Season 4 of Lost. Feel free to scan through it. Beware though, there are spoilers in the thread. Here's the link the the thread:

Happy Reading!!
MINOR SPOILERS BELOW IF YOU HAVEN'T SEEN THE EPISODE
My money is on Mrs. Hawking, the woman who was seen at the end of last week's episode telling Ben they only had 70 hours to round everyone up. She also appeared in an earlier episode where Desmond travels back in time - she was the one who refused to sell him a wedding ring and told him that the history was set and could not be changed.
Very entertaining episode that continued to use time travel as a way of possibly explaining certain events we've already seen such as why Richard Alpert goes to see Locke after he's born (the adult Locke told him to) and maybe even what was buried under the hatch that was causing all the electromagnetic interference (the hydrogen bomb which Faraday told Ellie to bury in concrete).
Of course, little events like that, if they turn out to be true, would suggest that you can change the past...unless, the little changes were part of the normal flow of time and always meant to happen. I hate these time paradoxes.
- Hurley calling Jack from the lock up, surrounded by inmates, assuring him that everything's OK.
- Ben being Ben. I suspected he was behind's Kate's dilemma all along.
- Jin washing up on shore, and he runinng into a young Danielle and her cohorts.
- And everybody is starting to get those worrisome nosebleeds.
(That said, there's a good cliffhanger after the person's identity is revealed.)
Otherwise, I thought the episode was OK, if a bit too jungle-bound. I agree with Tony that Sawyer's exclamation was hilarious; and I think by far the best scene in the show was when Sawyer saw Kate delivering Claire's baby--the expressions on his face were emotional and very real.
Ah, well, I can't complain too much--at least my cable company wasn't on the fritz last night!
I found it interesting that the wheel turned for Locke with so little effort, while Ben had to struggle mightily back in Season 4.
Oh, and I don't think
Oh, one more thing. If the time traveling continues and someone on the island runs into themselves, will that mess up the SpaceTime continuum?
WWAAAAAAHHHHH!!!
Good ep though. I don't think the identity of Farraday's mother was much of a surprise. I'm sure she's the girl on the island who went with Farraday to defuse the bomb. But there was some seriously creepy stuff last night.
*What happened to Aaron, and why has Kate made Jack swear to never ask her about it?
*Who is the beautiful woman with Sayid, and what happened to his beard?
*How did Ben's face get turned into hamburger?
*What got all those who said they wouldn't go back to the island on to the flight?
*Who's the Mid-East dude on the flight? (The actor played the terrorist cell leader in Traitor.)
All in all, a good show. I also enjoyed the return of Frank Lupitas--clean-shaven and perhaps sober--and as always there are good lines in the episode. I particularly enjoyed Farraday's mum saying that it was time Jack stop thinking about how ridiculous everything is and just believe. Good advice for us all.
And next week--we get to learn about Locke's death! Ooh, can't wait!
You'll recall that in the Season 4 finale, Ben promised Widmore that he would kill Penny as retribution for the death of Alex. I have a feeling Ben's injuries are the result of his trying to carry out that promise. Desmond is one of my favorite characters in the show so I'll be curious to see how that whole subplot plays out.
Also enjoyed seeing Jeff Fahey as Lapidus again - he's got a dry sense of humor and seems able to go with the flow no matter how crazy things get. He was one of my favorite new characters last year and I hope he sticks around.
"I guess where're not going to Guam." ) )
As for Bens face, I think Tony is right. On another board I frequent someone came up with the same theory as Tony mentioned. I guess we'll see. I'm also curious as to who the person was that was sorry for Jacks loss. I wonder what happened to the plane the 5 were on? I know Ben doesn't care what happened to them, but this can't leave that question unanswered.
Complaints aside, it was an enjoyable enough episode. As always, I'm looking forward to next week!
I could very well be wrong but I never really bought into Ben being a misunderstood good guy and that little bit at the end just cemented that. Given last night's events, and his continued scheming with Arron, I'm also convinced it was Ben who killed Sayid's wife Nadia.
The thing that bugged me the most about last night's episode - probably the weakest of Season 5 so far - was Locke's continued gullibility when it came to believing Ben. After all Ben had put him through, and after Christian himself had basically warned Locke that listening to Ben would get him nowhere, you'd think Locke would have had better sense than to spill his guts out like that.
The little twist with Widmore was also interesting. While I wouldn't go so far as to call him one of the good guys just yet, he is shaping up more and more to be at worst the lesser of two evils.
As always, I can't wait to see where all this goes.
I think it was good timing to have a character story to break up all the action and time events that have been coming at us at warp speed.
I don't know. He's trying to save the people on the island to. Ben knew John had to die to get the people back to the island. Ben killed John, but John came back to life on the island, so is John really dead? I guess we'll find out in time.
