Moreland cigarettes

I have a packet of James Bond Special No. 1. Balkan cigarettes, and as they have been sitting in a draw for too long, I would like to sell them to someone who would appreciate them. Unfurtunately I have no idea what they are worth, (if anything) The box contains 13 cigarettes (strange number?) and the box is all there but slightly damaged, some foxing on cigarette papers and one slightly damaged. All this has been caused by being stuffed in a drawer.! Any one interested, will be pleased to hear from you.?:)

    Whoever ends up with these, it would be nice if you would put up a photo.

    I am sure I am not alone in thinking it would be nice to have some "replicas" run up, if an original could be had for comparison!

    FYI: In watching Dr. No on the HD TV it looked to me as if Connery's cigarettes had the requsite three gold bands. Don't have this on BLue ray yet so can't be 100%.

    Do the fags have the 3 gold bands on them as per the novels???

    Well guys, I am absoutely gobsmacked that there have been handbags at three paces, I didn't realise they would cause so much interest. I have already had an offer which I am considering. In answer to your questions, YES they do have the three gold bands, sorry I ommitted that, and as for smoking one, well I am a smoker, but I don't think I would risk it! Genuine Cancer sticks!! I will try and get a photo on the site for you, but I will have to ask the missus as I am no good at complicated stuff. Don't worry ONE will be LUCKY.!!!!:s

    Well if nothing else found a good photo of the Morelands ... sort of justifies this thread - aside from the opportunity for Bondtoys and ASP9mm to fire some salvos at each other!

    I didn't buy them as I have some in better condition somewhere. They are the same size as Players Navy cut and they do have handmade on them. Each box has 25 or 50 depending on the depth.

    Sorry guys, Marcus has been off line for a while due to small problem with elderley mother. He still has the cigarettes, as there seems to be a bit of a battle going on at the moment. I seem to have been nominated as "Miss Moneypenny" by Marcus, who is at present a good candidate for confused.com. Glad to see someone has posted my pictures, did try to get them on, but I'm obviously not as clever as I thought. Quite happy to keep an eye on you guys and answer any queries. You look as though you need a woman to keep you under control!!!!!!! Moneypenny.
