Cuff Links

I've a pair of original ST Dupont rectangular cufflinks as worn in the Poker Scene of Casino Royale. These were given to me by a friend associated with the film and were apparently one of a few pairs worn by DC in the film.

These are not the Bond 007 Ltd Edition ones with the Bond logo on the handle bar. These have ST Dupont engraved on the bars.

I am looking to potentially selling these due to poor finances as a result of the current crunch we work in. They are boxed and in good (not mint) condition.

Does anyone have any idea of potential value please for insurance purposes if nothing else.

Many thanks.

Remember that Dupont made the plain versions before they made the Ltd versions. I have some non 007 branded ones that I bought from an online Dupont dealer in the summer of 2006.

I don't know if it's the bad economy or not. But as of late alot of first time posters are surfacing with something to sell.

I hope our members remember "caveat emptor" .... Ebay or a site run by one of our time proven "regulars" seems a much safer bet - regardless of the rarity of the item offered.

None taken thought this may be a response from someone.

I've been on ebay to estimate a value, but from previous forums on ajb007 it would appear ymembers opinions / feedback is also useful, hence I became a first time poster.

As you are writing a reply, there is a field on the right side saying "How to add images". Press it and follow the instruction.

But you have to host your pic somewhere and use the link to this pic.

And these cuffs in worn condition are tricky, unless you provide something, which proofs, that they are used by the production or are screen-seen.

So paperwork will help more to answer your question than pics as almost everybody here knows, how these cufflinks look like.

Unless there is no bullet-proof evidence, these are simply worn ST Dupont cufflinks.

So--what is the asking price for the cufflinks? I am interested and PAYPAL payment will give me the needed buyer protection from an unknown seller.

As they are non-limited versions without the Casino Royale packaging, a fair price would be £200 to £250 if new. However because they are worn it will be considerably less than this.

Ebay would be the best place to sell to get a higher price. They get less than the limited versions by far, but with the right wording.

Would be very interested to see the proof of Bond wearing them.

I am also looking for a pair of these cufflinks - happy to obtain a pair without the 007 limited edition branding.

Anyone seen or have any for sale?
