JA, thanks for the compliment. I contacted Indy and he was happy to oblige my requests for both a "Royale" tux and a Quantum Suit. Both should be arriving in the next several days. I cant wait to get them!! I ordered some other non-Bond related items from Magnoli and they were top notch, cant wait to see how these look in person.

Congrats, wish i had the funds, do post some pics when you receive them, the qos suit looks good to me also, let us know how it sompares with boron boutiques version.

I don't understand why noone else seems bothered by magnoli's suit or his QOS jacket after all the build up, these forums need to wake up people!!!!

Great, not exactly top on my list since I really don't wear tuxes often but a definite buy.
Away at Boot Camp, won't be back until April the earliest.

I definitely like the QoS suit - it definitely has a very hand tailored look and finish to the garment, and the fabric looks wonderful.

It does look quite professional, what colour would you get? i'd go for a black or charcoal.

Erm, one small Oops, going by the descriptor...

"Based on the tuxedo worn by Daniel Craig in Casino Royale, this classic design features a peaked lapel, single-breasted closure and DOUBLE REAR VENTS. Cashmere-silk lapels match the piping down each pant leg."

    (Emphasis in Bold mine).

I got a replica of the Casino Royale dinner suit made for myself. (I hope at some stage to get pics taken.) No vents!

This is the company I got it from.

    No, not at all.

I explained the specifics to get it as close as possible in style. Their own one (there is a pic in the site) is very similar in most respects. It would have been impossible to match fabrics etc, and it is a style replica. I know thats easy for me to say, because I don't actually want a carbon copy of Bond's wardrobe. Even if you found a tailor who would match the materials, you would be paying thousands!

The Quantam Suit and Casino Royale Tux arrived today. As far as inital impressions. The suit is put together very well. It's slightly heavier than I would have initially thought, but already owning very light weight suits its nice to have something with a bit of "umph" to it. As far as special options I opted to go with a super 150 dark charcoal wool, hand picked stiching, canvas construction, functioning sleeve button holes and a contrasting lining for the sleeves. The trousers are tab adjust style (no belt needed) and are fully lined, which is something new to me, but every suit has its own eccentricites. overall i am very pleased with the suit and will enjoy wearing it regularly.
The CR tux is amazing. The fit on it is superb. Special options i had were again functioning sleeve buttons and canvas construction. i opted for the vents because personally i am not a fan of non vented suits/jackets. And since i am spending the bucks on the product why not have it made exactly how you want it?? the trousers are a button fly style and have internal buttons for braces. If you are wanting a tux that you will wear for fun and formal events this is definatly something to consider.
and as far as comparing baron's QofS suit and Magnoli's I dont know. I don't own anything from Baron's and the emails i sent to him came back unanswered. i hope this review is helpful to all, and i will be happy to answer more questions if anyone has them.

The collar, not lapel, may need to have a little more curve to it. This is the only good pic I could find. Other than that it looks great.

Just in case the image can't stay.

Looks like they read this site...

"Based on the tuxedo worn by Daniel Craig in Casino Royale, this classic design features a peaked lapel, single-breasted closure and a plain back with NO VENTS. Cashmere-silk lapels match the piping down each pant leg."

    No Vents now :)
