Thunderball clothing

I've been studying Connery's wardrobe in Thunderball and there is one shirt that I just cannot work out. When he's looking for the Vulcan in the helicopter with Felix he is wearing a blue and white short sleeved shirt with what appears to be horizontal stripes although on the sleeve and the shoulder, it looks distinctly like gingham. I'm not sure whether to put it down to trick on the eye, the detail being too fine for the film to pick it up or whether he actually is wearing a part gingham, part striped shirt (but that seems a bit odd if nothing else). So i was just wondering if anyone (particularly with the BluRay version of the film) would be able to shed any light.

loosely connected but several high street chains did pink gingham short sleeved shirts last year- although sadly several of them had button down collars.
Not bad quality and nice material though

yeh river island have a pink one at the moment but its a bit dark and has a grey lining to the collar
