Hey everyone -
A few weeks ago I posted in a "Replica Seamaster" topic about two "Alpha" watches I had purchased. For those of you interested in the Alpha watches, I wanted to post an update.
The first watch I purchased was a "Seamaster"-like watch with black face/ black dial and included additional complications. While it worked well at first, after only a few months it no longer keeps very good time. Even as I wear it throughout the day it sometimes needs to be reset. Well... I guess that is what you get from a cheap Japanese automatic movement. I'd steer clear of this one, guys: http://www.alpha-watch.com/details.php?myid=110.
The other was a "Planet Ocean" replica... The fact that the numbers are red bothers me slightly, but this is a gorgeous watch. It still keeps great time and looks fantastic. The construction is simply superior to the other watch I described. Here is a link to this highly recommended piece: http://www.alpha-watch.com/details.php?myid=199.
