    And I will add this:

As far as comments about legal concerns and Moderation of this Forum, I wouldn't be dismissive of that. Unsubstantiated claims of "plagarism," which is, of course defamatory to my character, were made and allowed to perpetuate here. Then, suddenly, when I refuted them, the Thread was suddenly Closed.

Someone used the term "Orwellian" here. Yeah, that fits. Think of how many people have weighed in on this who have not even read my article. Think of how much easier it would have been to get copies than to go on and on here. Motives?

No, this is not a well-moderated Forum.

No one allowed the thread to go on "defaming" you and then we shut it down when you tried to defend yourself. That thread went on for three pages BEFORE ANY MODERATOR GOT TO SEE IT. It would be wonderful if there was a moderator on the site 24/7, but there are times--sometimes even a few hours--when no mods are here. Sorry that we all have jobs and lives away from AJB.

I'm the one who shut down the original thread. I didn't do it thinking, "Yeah, these guys are giving Dell a good thrashing, and I'm enjoying it; but I'd better close it because he's starting to tell the truth and I can't allow that." Please. Credit me with some logic. I closed it and hid it because it was going beyong contentious and especially because it contained personal attacks that border on libel. THAT, in a nutshell, is why I chose to hide it instead of to just lock it. If I or any other mod had it in for you, Dell, I would have just let the thread stand and allow you to be called names and to have your reputation trashed in public. So pardon me for trying to protect you and for trying to protect this site, but what can you expect from such a poor moderator?

FYI, to any of you who think moderating is such a lovely job and who dream of doing it, let this stand as evidence of the kind of s__t you have to eat when you're trying to do no more than keep the site a civil and fun place.
