Where can we review books (other than ajb)? There's Amazon, but you need to have bought the book from them in order to do that...

I got a Waterstone's card a couple of weeks ago. They sent me an email with a link to their site. You can request review copies of books. I'm not sure how long these reviews have to be, or whether they're merely customer reviews. Haven't had the time to look into it properly, but if you can get some free stuff it might be worth a go.

I just did a quick search and came up with this:

    www.iblist.com

I typed in a random title (Jurassic Park) and 111 matches came up. It looks like it gives a average rating by how many users have reviewed it. It also looks like it has a brief summary of the book. Hope this helps.

Looks like you can get free books from this site if they take you on as a contributor.

Are you sure about Amazon? I've put up reviews for books I bought elsewhere on their U.S. site, though not in the last couple of months.
