QoS and Casino Royale Props

A prop maker has made available the following DC props.

1. QoS Univex black business card in superclear gloss printed design (no black or white bleeding of text) with internal wafer thin "GPS" tracker installed. A real piece of etched gold/silver GPS/antennae is installed inside card, which can be peeled apart to display innards.

2. CR - 2 identical GPS units - one used by MI6 doctor to inject into Bond's arm in Bahamas and the second one Bond places in LeChiffre's inhaler at the Casino. Tranparent as in the movie so you can see the innards.

Note: Although real "transmitters" are used...in reality their performance is not the same as the movies fictional transmitters. In reality these things have a limited range ...whereas in movie they are global transmitters. So treat these as props only without any high expectations that you can use them as per movie.

Sold as a set. Total price for the 3 pieces = $55 USD.

These are just so cool so any interest, PM me as I need to get these reserved as quantities are limited at this price. B-)

Here is a picture of the propmaster's work in progress. Upper left is a section containing the injected GPS units as per the Bahamas scenes as well as the Casino ones. 2 each per set. I am told these GPS units will be neatly displayed in a small container with MI6 logos.

The QoS business cards can be seen. Picture does not do the printing quality justice...the printing on gloss cardboard is razor sharp. The wafer thin GPS antennae can be seen in 2 sizes. These are silver and gold electrode etched onto polymer sheets. The propmaster will probably make 2 different runs using the small/large ones. In the pic the large antenna also has a mockup of the printed circuit board grid underneath. This is just a paper print currently but in the final version will be printed on a black background with gold/brass accents. The silver antennae will be placed over this and will contrast beautifully. The electronics will then be bonded to the back of the card and finally a backing board tacked on with removable glue...so you can peel off (like a Post it note) to look at the innards.

There will also be Q-Branch equipment notes accompanying these pieces explaining some of the technical details.

Would those who PM me asking for pics please confirm your interest so I can finalise quantities with the Propmaster. Payment upfront with turnaround time within 3 weeks.

Click on link for updated picture of QoS business card. Front of card printed on gloss card stock with absolutely no bleeding of black and white - front peels off to reveal internals. Metal etched antennae with specially printed "electronics" Restickable adhesive.

Each order also contain 2 of the GPS units seen in CR. Seen in the Bahamas scenes when Bond is implanted one in wrist to allow M to track him. The other is seen when Bond plants one in Le Chiffre's inhaler in the casino. This pic is a macro enlargement of unit. Size is about a large grain of rice so you can seen the microscopic work involved. This is a silhouette pic but under different light you can seen fine elctronics. Inside of each tube can be seen through transparent sides with naked eye - even better if you use a magnifying glass.

Orders close by Friday this week, 6 March. The Propmaster needs to finalise the production run and to be fair to those who have paid already. Those who have expressed an interest but not yet paid are urged to hurry to avoid missing out.

These are amazing value, esp given the dearth of QoS items out there...

as "shot in the arms" go, this one is difficult to beat...

All orders closed last week. The business card printing batch will be finalised this week. Proofs are looking beautiful. All photoetched circuitry completed and correct glues sourced. Assembly of cards is next job to be underway. The order for the completed GPS miniatures have been put in and we are now awaiting delivery. As soon as these come in packing for delivery can take place.

Apologies to those who paid earlier for the slightly longer wait as we waited for our site friends to complete the batch order.

Will keep you all posted.

All the GPS units are in and they look terrific.

Update in. Sorry for the tardiness with news - been busy recently in day job. Items are all ready and been packed so the mailing list is progressively clearing over next few days. Propmaker has improved on the card internals with PCB's/ antennae, colour schemes...adding the correct colour to the back of the cards. The GPS units are also terrific. Will post a picture asap so you can all see what you will be getting soon in mail.
