Has anybody ever played this?
I used to see it in game shops when I was a kid, but I never actually played it. I've always been curious though. Was it any good?

I have the Source book and all the games.
It had nice added books like the Q, Locations and Villains Manuals.
More info on it on Wiki http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/James_Bond_007_%28role-playing_game%29
This site offers Downloads of the games(Downloaded one and it worked great) http://drmikessteakdinner.com/2008/05/14/download-the-james-bond-rpg-game/
Good to know. :007)
All I have to add is that if you got a group of decent, mature people it's a blast to play even now as an adult.
You can pick to go the movie or novel route- or mix them up.
The sourcebook Thrilling Locations (as seen at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Bond_RPG_Supplements.jpg), inspired by Fleming's own Thrilling Cities, is a smooth and interesting read even if you don't intend to play the game at all- plus gorgeous photos.
One of the remnants of my youth I'm glad I kept.

But you yourself are nothing so divine.
Just next in line.
The art work is very well done and the games are a blast. My fav. is Dr. No.
