Name CR & QoS as one film

When QoS arrives on DVD, I'll definitely be watching them back-to-back. I was thinking of splicing them together, to avoid disk-changes.

I thought it would be interesting to think of a name for the two films as a collective, so I don't have to refer to "Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace" :D

What do you think? Maybe something short and sweet like "Quantum" or "Vesper", or something more... dramatic? :p

    Quantum Of Vesper.

I think that would sum up both films nicely.

Or a variation on a title Fleming himself toyed with: The Smooth with the Rough.

How about borrowing the title of that Clint Eastwood classic: The Good, The Bad, and ... Oh wait, we'd need a trilogy for that, wouldn't we? :)

How about ''I've bought this set and there will be another one out in 6 months with an extra disc and then a super de-luxe version of that which will only have 3 more minutes of extras but I must have it otherwise my collection will feel incomplete plus it has a different picture of Daniel Craig on the cover anyway so that justifies me spending and extra £15''? .....Just a thought.

I think the best title for these two films, given that they represent the dawn of Bond's '00' career, is one that I'd never advocate for an actual film, but I think it works for these two combined:

Well, maybe not a title, but certainly an observation and possible explanation...

CASINO ROYALE and QUANTUM OF SOLACE anagram to:

    NO AUTO-USE OF Q ANYMORE: CIA'S CALL?

    I don't think any Bond book/film should use Bond's name/number in it's title..............

I remember when it was rumored as the title for QoS, and I must admit, a part of me warmed to it, kind of. As Loef says, probably not for a single film, but it snappily sums up one of the bigger themes of the two films - Bond's journey to that very status.

When "Casino Royale" was released in the USA, I think the paperback editions were retitled "Too Hot to Handle".

    I like that!

Speaking of VG titles, I think 'Everything or Nothing' would be a good one :)
