Well, I'm here on vacation. And had a big shopping day. Sadly it was mostly a bust.
Stop one: Tom Ford. Wow that cardigan feels SO nice. I just can't justify that price though. So, I'm frantically calling the 243436072 Zara stores located in NYC trying to find a cardi. As for the ties, completely out of stock. There was one "greene party" tie left but they told me it was the wrong color.
Stop two: Turnbull & Asser. Short trip. It was closed! Due to snowstorms is closed early. I'll definitely hit it tomorrow. I'm going to bring in a picture of the Obanno tie in hopes that they can ID it as theirs?
Stop three: Churches. I want those Philip shoes. I want those Philip shoes. I want those Philip shoes. We'll see how much longer I can resist before giving in. I also wanted to pick up a pair of the Ryders because they were half off! Sadly, because of that fact, they were sold out save one pair in a size 7.
Stop four: Y-3. Jackpot. They have a few jackets left in all sizes. Picked up the 007 one and another just for kicks.
Stop five: Barney's co-op. I tried on a pair of mercer "7" jeans. A little tight but much more manageable than the Levi's. Problem is, there were no blue buttons. I'm going to try another co-op, bloomingdale's, and sak's tomorrow.
Well, just thought I'd fill you all in on my Bondful day. Tomorrow I plan on revisiting some of these stores, as well as checking out the Sunspel store, Persol, and John Lobb.
All the best,
Charles

Live about 2hrs away, so a nice drive in and a great day all around. I will be on the lookout for the new QoS Omega.

So, had a relaxing day 2.
Stop one: went back to Y-3 and got another jacket for a friend. Man I love that store.
Stop two: A British clothing store. Rumored to sell sunspel polos so I decided to take a look inside. No luck. Damn.
Stop three: Turnbull & Asser. I spent a few hours in there talking with Felix (recommended to me by the mantis' article). He was very helpful and fitted me for a CR casino shirt and bow tie. I was also measured for a navy pin-stripe 3 pc. suit like the one in at the end of CR. I asked about Obanno's tie and they didn't recognize it as theirs. The search continues lol.
Tomorrow: Persol, Lobb, Barney's (trying to find the Brioni shirt from CR), and Tourneau for the Omega watches.
Why not go to the Brioni store and look through their shirt fabric book?
I may also try to get the TF shirt that was worn under the cardi.
And wasn't there a blue T&A shirt used in one of the Brosnan films?

Good luck with the search.
I have to say that they were kind of snobby when I stopped in the Brioni store, as soon as I mentioned Bond the one guy looked down on me. I was looking for ties, maybe they will be more friendly with shirts or maybe it was just the one guy that was snobby. I all ready looked through a book of samples and didn't find any CR shirts but that was at Nieman Marcus, so I hope you have better luck. I do like that Brioni is conveniently located across from T&A.
Another thing when you stop in Barney's could you take a mental note if they have John Lobb Romsey's and how much.

You're most welcome. If anyone else is interested, here is the link: http://www.carnegiehall.org/article/box_office/events/evt_10881.html
Based on Red's post, tickets are still available.
Stop one: Brioni. Despite warnings, the guys in there were very kind and polite. However, they didn't know anything about their bond stuff. I showed a picture of their shirt to see if they had one in stock and they said T&A may have it Anyway, I tried on their bond tux from CR and boy it feels nice. The inside looks really cool and must have 8 or so pockets, including one that is shaped specifically for a p99.
Stop two: Back to T&A. I have unofficially given up the search for the CR evening shirt and tie box set. Instead, I had them make me the CR tux shirt "from scratch" and they dug up a CR bow tie for me. I also found the 2 shirt color #'s for the TND shirts. The white is 1001 and the sky blue is 1004.
Stop three: Barney's. No ST Duponts, No John Lobbs, no 7 Mercers with blue buttons. Bust.
Stop four: John Lobb. They still have both the Luffield and the Romsey, I was primarily interested in the Luffields. These are an amazing pair of shoes and if you can fork up the money, GET THEM. They are the smoothest, most comfortable shoe I have ever worn. They are definitely above the Philip in my book.
Stop five: Tourneau. I tried on all of the Bond Omegas. Ended up settling on the black rubber PO from CR. It fits just right and looks great with everything.
Stop six: Tom Ford. I ended up going back and picking up the white shirt DC wore underneath the TF (or Zara) cardigan. There is a tie there that may just be the Greene party tie but I will need to examine it more to be sure.
I also peeked in a Zara store today and got a directory of all the US Zara stores. I tried all of the New York ones and no one has any cardis in stock, but they get shipments in on Wed and Fri so I will try again in a few days.
Tomorrow: Ted Baker, Persol.
Lobbs are probably one of the finest RTW shoes available, especially compared to Church's, currently owned by Prada.

"Your contact?" "Not well."
i believe it to be : 8453042195 and mine was 350 euros...
Here's the song list:
http://www.carnegiehall.org/article/box_office/events/evt_10881.html
Encore: "Surrender" (Credit song from TND)
Second Encore: "Another Way to Die" (Theme from QoS)
My only complaint is that the tempos were very rushed, ruining the feel of some of the songs. I understand they did it to be more "poppy" but it didn't translate well in some of the songs.
Final "Bond day" recap will be posted soon.
Stop one: Tom Ford. I returned the Greene party tie I picked up due to it being the wrong color. However, I found the London tie! (pics soon)
Stop two: T&A. Wanted to compare the C Tyrwhitt I picked up a while back to the TND sky blue shirt. It's two shades off but I still love it.
Stop three: Confidential. Helping a certain reproducer get a few correct measurements on an item.
Stop four: Ted Baker. No bond ties, but I think they had some pants. Didn't have enough info to spot any matches to CR pants though.
Stop five: Bond NY Pops concert.
Stop six: Daniel Craig. I went to go visit him. He's a nice guy but didn't talk much. I got a picture with him though. (Tom Ford shades, Y-3 jacket)
:P
