  Unfortunately no one really knows, I tried looking at John Smedley but it doesn't match up with any of there polos so who knows.

  Away at Boot Camp, won't be back until April the earliest.

  Its some sort of a solid ocean blue rugby polo, with the extra button placket, and in a jersey cotton. I've looked extensively, but no matches yet.

  been working on this for ages with no luck. shaughnessy is right, if anyone does a search then use the word 'rugby' as this is a little more accurate than polo shirt. Happy hunting !

  I don't think, that this can be called a rugby shirt.
  
  Rugby shirts have pretty rough collars and plackets, including rubber buttons and a much heavier fabric.
  
  As the fabric of the mentioned Venice shirt is a light jersey fabric, my opinion is, that the term "long-sleeved Polo" is spot-on.

  Agreed Bondtoys. In the Uk M&S do a navy Merino wool and silk shirt that looks similar, they refer to it as a polo shirt ( it has long sleeves). Just looked and it seems they have dropped the navy coloured one.
