And you can bet it was largo's favourite game ( built up hundreds of hours on it ) . It would
be like me challenging Bond to a game of " TP's rules GTA " )

Thunderball by far! I didn't care that much for NSNA...Sean didn't seem like he was really into the role at that point...it was a stale attempt by him. Kim Basinger is not on my attractive women list...yuck (and she has man hands). Sean was more into the role in Thunderball. Claudine Auger (Domino) :x , Luciana Paluzzi (Fiona) :x and we can't forget one of my favorites..Martine Beswick (Paula) :x :x ..great ladies cast in Thunderball!

I'm a THUNDERBALL supporter myself. Connery's still on top form & there's an epic feel, but not at the expense of character. Everything feels believable despite the OTT nature of the production. The one niggle is the business of getting a double to take Derval's place & all the faffing about in Shrublands. In terms of economical storytelling this is one area NEVER SAY NEVER AGAIN improves on things, but as the whole health club segment is played for laughs one doesn't really feel much concern with Jack Petacchi's plight afterwards.
But NSNA perks up when the action shifts to the Bahamas. Connery regains confidence & no longer appears the benign older gent of the Shrublands scenes. Brandauer & Carrera shine as the baddies & everything moves at a brisk place. But overall it just doesn't have the class of THUNDERBALL. The cinematography's muddy & Legrand's score just isn't strong enough to carry (or even complement) the action.
Essentially it's a Roger Moore Bond film, but without Moore it just doesn't feel right.
