thats the thing with the girls of friends, they're all kinda hot, but none are stunning.
Was Olga Kurylenko stunning? I didn't think she was I thought she wasn't as glamourous as Eva Green and you could tell just by looking at them. Maybe that's why Bond had sex with Strawberry Fields instead. Feilds was glamourous like Vesper and Camille wasn't. :007)

I never could see why Aniston is considered to be so hot and beautiful. Sure, she is clearly above averge, but she wasn't even the hottest "Friend"!
Well, I would say she looks hotter in other projects that wasn't 'Friends'. Character wise, in the very early episodes her character was a bit shallow and very naive. I often thought Lisa Kudrow was quite sexy at times, but what irritated me was that the writers made her out to be this ditsy blonde. IMO she deserved better than that, because she totally nailed that 'Phoebe' character- she used to come out with some great lines, but despite what a lot of others used to say, I was never into Courtney Cox.
Everyone of my generation used to watch 'Friends' and used to copy things the characters would say, and you had to be watch it in order to considered 'cool', same as 'Dawson's Creek'.
Because of 'Friends', 12 or 13-year olds started using terms like 'relationships', and that really hacked me off. I was like, 'c'mon, WHAT relationship? You're 13 for goodness sake'. X-(
Many of the Bond girls these days are all about substance, aren't they? Back in the Roger Moore days they were largely used as decoration, rather in the same way that the Carry Ons or Benny Hill would, check FYEO and Octopussy.
I find Jennifer Aniston to be extremely bland. I remember going to see Marley & Me (primarily for Owen Wilson) and she bored me. I liked her in Friends but I never considered her to be Bond Girl material and based on her post-Friends work, my view hasn't changed.
If we're going to have as a Bond girl someone who once dated Brad Pitt, why not Angelina? I don't know if I would want her to be a Bond girl (not because I don't love her, as I very much do), but I think she would be vastly superior to Jennifer Aniston.

Good grief, people, this news was first posted NEARLY TWO YEARS AGO! Why revive it and treat it as something new?

Recently watched Ms. Aniston in The Bounty Hunter, with Gerard Butler---an amusing bit of fluff; I enjoyed it and laughed some...but I was struck by how attractive she was in that picture! I agree with earlier posters that she looks better with some age on her. And I'll reiterate my previous post that Eon could do worse if they're going to go American with a Bond girl. IMO, she'd be a good Americanized Vivienne Michele (sic?).
But detractors needn't worry. It won't happen.

I think Jennifer Aniston would make a great Bond girl. She would be an age appropriate love interest for Bond and she is in better shape than most 20 year olds. C'mon brothers! She's got a slammin' body. I think she's a pretty darned good actress to.
Yeah, it's probably just a publicity rumor but a rumor I wouldn't mind see coming to fruition.
In my opinion, Jennifer Anniston is just as attractive as Denise Richards, if not more so. And she's a much better actress. But I have trouble seeing her as a Bond girl because she is so closely identified with light romantic comedy roles. That might have worked in a Roger Moore era Bond, but it wouldn'y fly with Daniel Craig's take on Bond. But who knows - she could surprise us. I have my doubts about whether she is seriously being considered for such a role, though.
As Hardy said this story is quite old, but since we are discussing it, I would vote a big no. If they are going to go with an American, which I doubt, I could come up with some other names that would be better. Scarlet Johansson, Jessica Biel, Amanda Peet and Amy Adams to name a few.
For some reasons, American actresses, with the exception of Carey Lowell, have not shined in Bond films. Not sure why that is, but some of the weakest Bond gorls have been Americans.
. . .And, since people insist on discussing this moldy old topic, I might as well move it out of the QoS forum and into the "Bond 23" forum--which didn't even exist when this topic was first posted!

Actually, she might work even with DC's Bond provided she's not the main Bond girl. A lighter role a la Strawberry Fields would cater to her strengths, although you're right, she probably won't even be considered for a part.
There has been a suspicion aired - by Rupert Everett - about how Jen gets offered so many Hollywood roles despite most of her films tanking. She gets an infinite number of chances - what gives?
That said, it's hard to imagine other similar types agreeing to a Bond role, I don't think it helps you out career wise, you're always dubbed 'the Bond girl' with the implications of old news. So Jen might be up for it just for one shot at movie immortality.
I don't have a clue, but please not jennifer Anniston or megan fox. Please no.

The Bond films tend to get in trouble when they try to cast flavors of the moment. Consider Tanya Roberts, Denise Richards, Halle Berry. Better when they go with attractive actresses that can actually, you know, act: Eva Green, Gemma Arterton, Diana Rigg, etc.
I think they're better off casting an obscure European actress. I've liked that ploy over the years. The less I know about the lady, the more I believe her in the role. When Halle Berry was playing Jinx, I couldn't think of her as anyone other than Halle Berry.

Hey, at least Denise was attractive. Having Aniston as a Bond Girl is an entirely different matter.

What is this, the bad casting suggestions thread?
So does that mean that if they cast her, we will get a real actress as the villain?
Maybe if she was an evil henchman villain who never spoke.
Of just the standard hot girl in the Hotel who walks by and smiles at Bond.
