on the topic, the goods look ok, but most of the stuff you can buy elsewhere and the custom stuff isn't that difficult to make, providing you've got access to the right tools and machines.

Your Mug may make a return, my friend ) if you have a new and updated photo .. please feel free to send it to me.. and I if decide to put the OO section back online I will include it....
I was thinking more along the lines of creating a sort of Bond collectors Directory.. so you would see the picture of the collector a little bit of info about them and how to contact them.... just an idea at the moment.
ok back to the topic..
The custom products from the site in question are of little interest to me as thats my hobby making Props... my main interest is a P99 with Casino Roayle Silencer..... I came across it on Bond lifestyles... however when linked to the Q Branch site .. I could not find the CR Silencer anywere... I could make to be honest..I have a good friend who could also lathe / machine a replica out for me which is a second option...... I was more interested in a P99 airsoft or a blow back to fit the mock silencer to...... as I have a blow back PPK / S and thought the 2 would look great on display together.. and would be a nice addition to my props collection and displays....
I have so many variations of the PPK and I am looking to add a nice P99....
minigeff just out of curiosity which picture was yours again.. ? ) its so long since i have looked over the photos from the OO Section

i'd say go for mick, seems like a decent firm offering decent products at, well, a decent price.

Mick, Jeff wasn't the one that called herself Stephanie Broadchest....
I miss the double-oh's...
On topic, I'd like to heap my own praise on KB and "the branch"...
simply the best, no one does props better (sorry Jeff, your cars are best.. )
and there is nothing KB won't do with enough time and money...
some have seen what he's done for me, and will agree KB's nothing short of a wizard...

If you are in the UK, Take a look at this
http://www.surplusstore.co.uk/catalog/product_info.php/products_id/2453
whats more, is if you fire anything like that, you're neighbours are sure to call out the ARU, and trust me, their guns aint got 'replica' on the side, but look equally real as that p99 blank firer.

Joking aside.. good point .. £200 is a bit steep .. If i was to buy something like that .. it would just sit in a display case anyway .. so id rather get hold of one of the airsoft's.. or blow back replicas at a far better price and just as accurate

DEFINATELY DO NOT DO THIS AS IT IS AGAINST UK LAWS but somebody could strip the paint and blue the slide and it would be excactly as used on screen.
I had one of these years ago before the VCR came into effect and they had threaded barrels (internal) and I purchased a silencer from Q branch. looked really cool
or you could buy that blank firer, make a loud bang and get arrested.
hmmmm.
i say go with mick's idea, buy an airsoft and keep it on display.

Still cheaper than a deactivated real P99
Getting your hands on a softair replica is pretty hard in this climate, also not that much cheaper.
Incidentally I used to belong to a local gun club before 1987
Not the ones I saw at the NEC last weekend - the plastic was blue, not painted, and I think you'll find that's the way they will be in the future - one would have to get some gun-metal paint.
i found at the tender age of about, 12, that dancing round the house pretending to be 007 has its limitations as far as entertainment goes.
most replicas etc end up gathering dust under the bed, as people can easily get freaked when they see guns on display through your window.
sure, buy a replica if you want, just make sure its not the first thing postman pat sees through your window when he delivers your mail.
as an active target sports participant, i can't really see the point in blank firers and replicas, other than display purposes. but if its just for display, you may as well have just a solid cast replica.
some say in my fraternity, that replicas and all that give 'the proper' shooters a bad name, and portray us all as weekend warriors and wanna-be-rambo's. i don't think thats necessarily the case, as i know alot of bond fans who simply want to display bond's weapon of choice, and not dance round the village pretending to look hard with a cap gun.
anyways, the bottom line of my advise is that if you want a replica, or whatever kind of firearm, do your homework, make sure you're aware of the laws and regulations, don't take any risks or chance, because even at a short distance, and even if these things are painted different colours, they can be easily mistaken for a real gun, and if you have a firearms officer confront you, it only takes one slight wrong move and disaster could happen.
by all means, get yourself involved with the sport of shooting, but make sure you go about it legally.
ta-ra,
MG.
