Film cells questions

Hi there,

I've recently started to collect James Bond filmcells. The loose ones, not the overpriced mounted sets.

I was wondering if you guys knew if the film cells from some movies are harder to come by then those from other ones?

Secondly I was wondering if there were people out there who have experience in collecting these, and if they could perhaps tell me if these cells will deteriorate over time?

Thanks guys. {[]

the only thing i kinda know is that the cells may be sensitive to acid in your sweat, so when you handle them, be careful not to get dirty or sweaty fingerprints all over them.

best mount them up behind glass and keep out of direct sunlight to avoid fading.

    Thanks minigeff. {[]

I keep them in albums that are originally intended for coin collectors, so they are protected by a hard plastic layer. And as these have transparent pages that you can take out, I just take the whole page and hold it to the light when I want to view them.

The only problem I have with that is that I sometimes feel like a stamp collector... :(|)
