its items like that ... I draw the line at...... the props aspect of collecting is never ending .. there should be a limit as to what is classed as a prop.. and if some of you have been on my website .. you will know how much of a collector and maker I am of props and replicas etc ....... but the way i see it.. a prop is something which is clearly seen on screen and used in a major way.. like a gun .. or weapon / gadget .. clothing clearly seen .. basicaly items seen for more than a milli-second..

and also Replicas are usualy better made, and of a higher quality than the original on screen item.. as it is made to be used once and thats it realy .. where as a replica is made to last .. providing its made by a proffesional or someone who knows what there doing..

So to sum up .. items that come up for sale like a 1:43 scale wicker basket seen in a model of the background of the OCTOPUSSY Tuk Tuk Taxi chase.... or the wing mirror off one of the Lada Police cars that the Tank in the chase seequence of GOLDENEYE drove over.. etc .. in my mind are not props .. its a coaster! or a support for a wobbly chair..

But things do get to this stage I have seen so much rubbish come up for sale over the years .. claiming to be props.. and its not just James Bond .. lots of other film genre's and movies too.

Personally I like crew items. Not that I see them as props or anything, I just enjoy picking them up cheap and wearing them.

I like to walk around professing my love for Bond or Indy and this is a nice way of doing it. :D
