CR Cricket Scene Shoes- Budget

I found these at target and they're almost identical to the shoes in the cricket scene in casino. i remember seeing a thread about these shoes and no one came up with any answers so for anyone looking here's a budget friendly example i scored for $20 USD.

Cricket Scene in CR? Was this cut from the original movie shown at the cinema? I haven't seen it.

Could the ones he is wearing in your pics be the lighter colour version of the Church's Ryder III boots? I believe they produce these boots several colours or rather shades of brown.

The cricket scene is when Bond kills the guy .. ''Fisher'' .. in the bathroom in the pre titles... that toilet was in suposed to be in a cricket stadium .. .. see some of the pictures on the wall hanging in that scene .. artistic impressions of cricket legends etc etc ..

I have similar boots to the ones worn by Daniel Craig in that scene.. however I got mines before CR came out .. they just look coincidently like them.. there Tan Cat Boots.. and I have a similar shirt and jacket .. and the gene trousers he wears also in the scene.. again .. items I had before the film came out

I was just thinking how the Ryder III's could potentially be a substitute or the PTS shoes.

I never look at target shoes mostly because their selection isn't great. But I might have to seek these out next time i'm there, my nicer Calvin Klein desert boots could use a rest before i wear them out.

That goes for me too.

Must be incredibly frustrating for all involved in filming that scene, getting excited about being in the movie, and then to end up on the cutting room floor.
