  just looks like a four-in-hand, but a half-windsor would look better with a spread collar.

  This has come up a lot in the past... it's generally agreed to be a four-in-hand. It juts out of the collar as it's a spread collar and T&A neckties have stiff fabric.
  
  IMO, Pierce didn't really get a knack on tying his neckties really well in the Bond flicks until TWINE. There it starts to get a nice shape and size.

  It's a Four-In-Hand knot - the shirt has cut-away collars.
  
  This type of knot varies a lot depending on the thickness and stiffness of the tie's material.

  There's also a few non-Bond shots (photoshoots) where you can see him with a tied knot and then with the same tie but loosened, and you can see the asymmetrical knot characteristic of the four-in-hand.
