I know this is a little late in the day, and I have searched for old posts, but does anyone have any idea as to what kind of pen Vesper uses to sign the register at the Hotel Splendide in Casino Royale ?:)

Not sure about the pen from the Hotel Splendide.

Not my type of pen though. It looks a bit too large for carrying around. I prefer the Goldeneye Parker Jotter ;), which can be found in just about any drug store or Office Max/Staples/Office Depot.

I agree has I have a Jotter too. In the UK I got mine recently from a Ryman store (what used to be Partners). They're great to write with and a bargain Bond prop for under £10. Although I did annoy my work colleagues the other day as I kept clicking the lid to it - fortunatly it didn't blow up though! :p

If you don't like writing with a ballpoint pen you can also get gel ink cartridges that fit them.

Does anyone have a Union Jack fountain pen like in NSNA? I guess they'd be cheaper than the Mount Blanc fountain pen from Octopussy?

as far as I remember, the NSNA pen infact WAS a Montblanc pen with a ridiculous british flag on it.
I don't want to bother to check the awful movie for that detail, but I am pretty sure ;)

And I thought, that only Roger could be critisized for having stupid gadgets in his movies 8-)

I have a couple of Parker Jotters myself, they are indeed a simple and inexpensive item to add to a collection. Ideal for anyone starting one up.

I originally thought the Splendide pen was also a Montblanc but not sure now. You see vesper click the push button on the top of the pen. I think most Montblancs are cap or twist.

Ridiculous British Flag! *Outrage* And here I was thinking that all British/German differences were settled on a football pitch in 1966! :p

There must be some way of finding out what the Hotel pen was.

Maybe it was listed as part of the corporate merchandise for the film?

By the by, I can't answer the football question. I must be the one Scot that doesn't follow the sport! :D
This is Thunderbird 2, how can I be of assistance?

well if the scene was filmed in the actual hotel and it was not just a film set made up...... the pen will be a branded hotel pen .. try and find... a hotel pen or get someone to obtain one from the hotel.....

it may just have been a standard Mont Blanc / parker ... pen .. its deffinetly got the ''clicky'' function .. as Vesper I am sure clicks. it
