JAMES BOND at THE HIPPODROME CINEMA
In SCOTLAND - Bo'ness / Falkirk
The Hippodrome Cinema in Bo'ness, Falkirk is an early example of a purpose built cinema, and is thought to be the oldest such building surviving in Scotland. The cinema opened in 1911 and was built for the Bo'ness cinematography pioneer Louis Dickson and designed by renowned local architect Matthew Steele. Restored 2008 -reopened 9th April 2009

THE JAMES BOND OO7 - SEASON
As part of a celebration of Cubby Broccoli's centenary and the re-opening of this historical Cinema..... They are putting on a season of Classic Bond films from the glory days of the 1960's as a special offer to all those who attend the special James Bond screenings.. the Cinema has joined forces with the Bo'ness Motor Museum which housed a fantastic collection of James Bond film cars, props and collectables and features its very own James Bond exhibition. the museum and cinema are located just minutes from each other.. and James Bond fans are invited in conjunction with the cinema .. to have a free Bond drink of your choice in the Museum's OO7 themed Bar and a tour of the Museums James Bond display before / after the viewing of each of the films which the cinema has lined up.... please see The Bo'ness museum here... the museum's Bond collection and exhibition has grown a great deal since these photos were taken
