  I think Banana Republic had a similar black jacket on sale not too long ago. I know they've hit their outlet stores, because I saw a rack of them for $60 each, without the added 20% discount that weekend.

  I checked that one out in stores and with the exception of the color and snap-closure on the collar, it's a great alternative! Unfortunately, I found it a little bit short and didn't pick one up(I'm 6'3 and usually wear a M or L).

  I bought an older version of this jacket (doesn't have the tab) from a Banana Republic Factory Store a couple years ago... and I love it. Highly recommended!

  It seems we have lots of choices for a budget QOS 'harrington' style jacket but not too many for the Y-3. I live in U.K. and can't seem to find a good alternative.

  Normally $90.00, but on sale for $44.99. I would've picked one up for myself, but the smallest size they offer is Medium and I need a Small.

  thats a Great alternative, but with a little reasearch you can find theres alot of links here that already have budget alternatives to the Y-3 jacket.

  I was excited to see Magnoli had created a Y-3 replica, until I saw the $350 price tag. Had it been half that, I would have pulled the trigger.
  Budget wise, I bought an Alfani from Macy's the has all but the collar tab....only 29.95 down from 125.00

  That's a Smith & Wesson, and you've had your six.
