Afternoon all.

It's amazing how much your life can change in 24 hours.

Yesterday my girlfriend took a home pregnancy test that came back positive. Today she has been to the doctor and she has confirmed that she is 6 weeks pregnant. I'm going to be a Dad!

Now this is pretty unexpected news and wasn't planned so I'm going through a huge variety of emotions. But there you are, we will soon have a JamesbondJr Jr. :o

    Another less famous person has observed that having a child is like the ultimate pair of corrective lenses: everything comes into focus, for maybe the first time in a person's life. I could tell you how I felt, there in the delivery room, as both of my sons were born and I held them for the first time...but you won't really 'get it' until you do it yourself.

    The initial shock is starting to wear off now and I am very excited, a bit nervous and extremely happy!

    Now, how do I convince my girlfriend that 'Bond' is a valid middle name? She dismissed Nick Nack straight away! Heaven only knows why ;) -{

    Great news. My daughter was delivered safe and sound at 23.25 last night weighing 5 pounds 12 ounces. Mother and baby are both fine. I'm so happy! Her name is Emily
