  Good afternoon all I have just stumbled upon this site I am happy to say. First a question that I would like an answer to please: In one of the very early books circa 1960 something Bond uses a Rolex GMT Master as a knuckle duster to bump of a baddy, as I cannot find which book it apears in I would appreciate some help. Thank.
  
  PS: Just a point of interest, The pistol in the very famous picture of Sean Connery holding a long barreled weapon alongside the left side of his face is a Walther air pistol model LP 53.

  No, in OHMSS, he IF was referring to a Rolex, but did not specify the model.
  
  There are many experts, who say, that it may have been one of the early proto Explorers.
  
  And yes, it is a Walther LP 53 in the FRWL poster.
