White Shirt in Casino Royale

Hi all

Does anyone know what the white short sleeve shirt DC was wearing when he arrived at the Ocean Club in the Bahamas? He was wearing it while tying his shoelace when he was mistaken for being the parking valet at the club.

If no longer available does anyone know of an alternative?

    Lindy Hemming had it custom made by the costumers that worked on the film. It's not branded.

    I thought I read some place that the shirt was made by Diesel and Lindy Hemming had it tailored to her specs by the costume people. I could be wrong. Just my 2 cents.

    We thought it was originally, but it was definately a Lindy Hemming design made by the costumers as a one off. Sruzgar can confirm this. The Magnoli shirt is a good copy, but the pattern of the material is different.

    You are ALL correct....Lindy used a Diesel shirt as the basis to make the custom made one that winds up on screen.

    Yup original LH design made of some indian cotton, I can get these made but no one seems to remember where the original fabric came from.

    Indy mentioned he might be able to have this fabric repicated. could probaly have the fabric replicated if enough people were interested!

    Another interesting fact is the shirt is teh exact same design ad the PTS shirt worn under teh blue linen suit only in different facbric!

    I'm pretty sure I saw the Diesel shirt that Lindy based the white shirt on in a boutique near where I live. It looked a little off in sizing (certain parts of the design were smaller/larger) which made me think it wasn't "it", but now that you guys are telling me it was used as a guide it makes sense now.

    Asp, any other tidbits from LH from the CR commentary? I've yet to hear it.

    I'd be interested in both versions:

    1) The white One and Only Club arrival

    AND

    2) The blue PTS version

    ...I remember seeing some stills and thinking it was the same shirt. Thanks for confirming my hunch.

    Simon, do you have another source for these or would we be ordering from Indy and getting a group rate from him?

    There is just one commentary for the whole crew. It switches between several of the crew, one of which is her.

    After having watched the 'film maker' profiles I still haven't come across anything from Lindy Hemming on the disc???

    Are you sure this is on there as I've watched all sections of the deluxe-edition blu-ray and still cannot locate this.

    Like this shirt however after watching CR on Blu Ray I have come to the conclusion that his fabric and pattern is NOTHING like the films.

    Anybody have some other alternatives for this shirt?
