Having watched QOS a number of times now I was wondering about an odd line during the boat chase.When Camille says Bond is just another Greene thug or something like that Bond replies Dominic Greene,implying that he knows the name and so the man.
But on following to the airport Bonds on the phone to Tanner asking about a Dominic Greene as if he's never heard of him.
In the scene with Camille and Bond in the car she says did Dominic give you any trouble but dosen't use his last name.
I'm wondering how Bond was able to Know who Greene was in one scene and not know him later. or did I miss a big piece of plot dialog and am going to feel very foolish

It's thin, sure---but unfortunately, there wasn't any time allotted in this picture for more exposition than that. Still, it's hardly the first time that things have fallen nicely into place for Our Man :007)

After all, Bond is a spy, so being able to piece thing like this together, with little to no information is what makes Bond so clever
It's then, once he has the name, he asks Tanner for more info.....and voilà - we have our man :007)
Does alcohol make it easier to understand for you then ?
Camille mentions the name Dominic....and later Greene....Bond knows she meets someone from Greene Industries...he simply puts two and two together.
