How well do you find the accuracy of Magnoli's version of the jacket? Anything to improve?

Other way around, actually. The G4 was out before Tom Ford made his jacket, so Tom Ford's jacket is really done in the style of the Baracuta.

No, I wasn't pointing out that the Baracuta existed (which we all knew and has been pointed out as an alternative before), I was simply pointing out that Baracuta is saying that theirs is in the style of DC in QOS, which I thought was cool.

As for Magnoli's version, I love mine, and apparently the only thing wrong with it is that the pockets on the real one are flaps that were pushed inside the pockets, whereas Magnoli's has little loops. I also wish the collar were a little bit stiffer. But other than that, it seems pretty dead-on to me.

Well, the original G4 had elastic at the wrist and waist, which the G9, and the Ford jacket lack. This is a just G9 jacket, with a slimmer cut. I'm actually a little annoyed at Baracuta, they're using some rather vague wording to suggest (to those who don't read carefully) that their product was the screen used jacket, and not just a similar style to the screen used Ford jacket. I also don't like that it's Teflon coated. Now, I'm not exactly a granola, but something about the idea of having my clothes lightly sprayed with no-stick chemicals makes me wary. I don't cook with Teflon either.

Actually, it's the G9 which has the elastic. I've had a G4 since 2006 and it lacks elastic sleeves and waist. The only change to this "QoS" G4 is that they made it slim-fit, as the G4 I got is the regular fit, which forced me to downsize 4 sizes to get a better fit.

Is the zip fob on Magnoli's too large compared to the original? I'm not sure...

I have the Magnoli (which I love) and judging by photos of the original, I would say if the fobs are larger, they are fractionally. Also, I would disagree about the pocket flaps being pushed in on the original; the photos are pretty clear in Bond On Set and now on the back cover of the new MI6 Declassified 5 showing the button loops.

I seem to remeber a screen shot from QOS that just showed a bit of tartan lining on the TF jacket. Anybody else see this?

I saw that when someone posted the pictures recently and it looked photoshopped to me.

Very doubtful that the film jacket had a tartan lining as it looked dark from what I could see.
