Can anybody give me the SHORT version of what has been going on between you guys and EON about posting pictures?
I'm just curious.
Or is everybody here legally gagged about that as well?

Short answer...
An (ex)member on here posted a short section of a Bond script before the film was released...Eon, naturally enough, were not very happy about this and shut down all the Bond sites that had the offending piece posted on them. As a result, all the sites closed down have strict guidelines to adhere to.
We also had a similar problem when someone posted an excerpt from the first Young Bond novel SilverFin...again, before the official release.
So please THINK before you post anything that could put AJB in trouble. If you are in doubt please don't post it - or contact a Moderator before doing so.

I don't know.
But Eon could come knocking at any time.
Posting of material before release dates or without the permission of the Producer is a breach of copyright - which is a criminal offence. Once upon a time it might have had an element of leanency when the net was relatively new, but in this day and age it is not excused, and the net is specifically refered to in copyright and info sharing disclaimers.
I am am member of several forums dedicated to films and TV series, and they all carry this kind of ruling in some form or another. Some carry it to more strict levels than others, due t past history, popularity and franchise value. (Bond is an obvious example cause it has been targeted and has been a very lucrative franchise for decades.)
I personally never understood piracy / leaking info. It just ruins it for everyone - inside and outside the industry.
As Sir M says though, if unsure - Ask the Mods!
