You may want to turn those to links, as they are copyright.

I think the second one was taken by Gregg Williams, I remember seeing that picture in the Bond on Set CR' but it has been a while since I last looked at it.

The first was taken in 2006 pre-Craig's announcement as Bond, as this was the photo provided with the press-release upon the announcement.
The second photo I'm not too sure about.

Im willing to guess it was done to have an updated one of Craig, probably to tie in with Casino Royale - but im not certain

I remember seeing the first pic back in 2006 and being a little underwhelmed by it, but when i saw the 2nd pic in which craig has his Bond haircut and his facial features were alot more visable in it i grew to like him as Bond. as oppose to his press announcement as bond where he was thin, had long hair and face definately wasnt what it looks like now.

But annoyingly the press still use the first rubbish one, probably cos it's free to use.

Actually the hair he had in the first photo is more Bond as every Bond has combed their hair back.

My thing with that first picture is that I am CONVINCED, it is a photoshop of Craig from "Layer Cake." They stuck his head on a body with a tux and a gun. I could be totally wrong but something about that pic just doesn't seem right to me.

I agree! - In the second pic, the cufflinks and watch are clearly seen as those used in the film. IN the forst ther watch is distorted and you can;t see the links. The lighting doesn't seem quite right either, and Mr Craig looks slighty gaunt, as though thinner than he actually is. I think its a fabricated shot too.
This is Thunderbird 2, how can I be of assistance?

I don't think this was a photoshop job---that first picture was Craig's first official photo for Eon as James Bond. It was taken in Fall '05, around the time of his announcement, and ran in all the magazines, press releases, etc. In the second one, they basically just tried to duplicate the pose from the first photo---only with Craig more 'film ready,' as I believe CR was in principal photography when it was taken.

No, you're not, which is why I removed the image--though people can still use the link. Also, your avatar has to go--it's the official "007" logo. Please remove it and submit another. Thanks.
