Although this is not geared to JUST James BOnd, for those in the area on May 23rd there is going to be a huge prop party hosted by SD STUDIOS and I know from Good sources there will be Bond stuff there...please see this thread for more details:

    Yep, the founder is still around. He made some great Bond pieces too. I Still have my attache case, golden gun and rebreather. The attache case took forever to get, but it's a sweet piece. Works just like in From Russia With Love.

    Don't worry, there was a time I wore shorts just like those quite regularly and pants with little sailboats all over them. Now only ocasionally on weekends.

    So what kind of buttons are on the TF cardigan? They always seemed to be black plastic dome buttons to me as opposed to the leather ones.

    there should be more events like this happening all over the world.. for specilaised collectors and fan alike... its a shame there isn't

    glad to hear the Dr. No hands were a big hit... good stuff.... I am going to be making another one .. just a single hand for my collection .. to reffer to for making a future replica if aplaciable... and to display and exhibitions and events alongside other Bond props and items...

    It's a very lucky man to wear the same clothes that James Bond did. {[] I see that the cardigan truly has no pockets. I'm going to ask Indy to make mine without pockets. Never carried anything in cardigan pockets anyway and they give it too much of the old man look as well.
    I would ask you if you could remain emotionally detached. But I don't think that's your problem is it Bond?

    I mentioned this in the other posts but it DOES have pockets./..and I have to tekk you the patterns on the TF cardigan are VERY different than Indy's (I am sure this will start a firestorm but truth is truth....).

    FU pants or shorts are ones typically worn in Long island by men who either don't care what people think of their overly gaudy mix of patterns or colors or they have so much money that they are essentially saying FU to the rest of the world....I am of the group that actually likes madras and doesn't care what people's opinions are on such trivial matters. :) FU stands for F@!& You!

    the late great ... Desmond Llewellyn .. had a hatred of wearing shorts on screen.. in YOLT he wore army shorts.. and he hated it... he has said many times.. that roger moore used to joke around .. and say behind the scene just off camera .. to directors and producers.. so that Q / Desmond would hear him .. that Desmond was going to be wearing shorts in the next scene etc .. and old Desmond would go mad.. it was all in good fun :))
