Several things.... They both work for their respective governments. They both were involved with the Casino thing. They worked together trying to get Mr. Big....

In terms of the film series and casting, they have both been played by seven different actors in film (if you count the non-eon production film of Casino Royale). Bond has been played by Niven, Connery, Lazenby, Moore, Dalton, Brosnan and Craig. Leiter has been played by Lord, Linder, Nutter, Burton, Hedison (twice), Terry and Wright....
"A dry martini, in a deep champagne goblet. Three measures of Gordons, one of Vodka, half a measure of Kina Lillet. Shake it very well until its ice cold, then add a large thin slice of lemon peel. Got it?" - Ian Fleming's 'Casino Royale'

"We're just too different... I mean, you're dead...." - Tim Burton's 'Corpse Bride'

    Carrying on the theme-

What do Jack Wade and Dr. Shatterhand have in common?
  • Gothic ZMGothic ZM VA, USAPosts: 110MI6 Agent
Jack Wade was played by Joe Don Baker, who had previously played a villain named Brad Whitaker, and Dr. Shatterhand (who is Blofeld) was played by Charles Grey in "Diamonds are Forever," who had previously played Bond's contact in "You Only Live Twice." So, both characters have been played by an actor who has played both an ally and a villain in the film continuity.... I think....
