How many inches is his tie?

Does anyone know how many inches SC's neckties were in his 1960's era, and they seem to change every movie.

3" wide and 59" long would be my guess for the grenedine ties. 2" wide and 59" long for the knit ties in Goldfinger. Again, these are just guesses. I'm willing to bet Matt S. knows the correct answer.

I'd guess they average around 3" for the grenadine ties. I have some 2.25" grenadine ties from the 60s and Connery's were definitely wider than that. That's probably about the width of the knit ties. Since only one end of the tie usually reached his waist, the length was probably about 55-57", which would be fairly standard. He clearly didn't have extra long ties, even though the extra length would help. 59" would have been very long for a tie back in the 60s.

Thanks a lot. I don't know for sure, but it's my calculated guess.
