Hello, I could not find a topic on this
I am looking to buy a Christopher Lee autograph, and I have been doing some browsing and found these prices
- Signed Book for £23 - I would do some personalising like I did for my Roger Moore one
- Mounted Display - £23 (Is this real)
- Christopher Lee Web - £60 inc taxes and postage
Is this a good price to be paying for him?
Which would be the best to do?
If I brought any of the top two, then I could either get the signature cut out of the book, and then mounted and framed, like I did with my Roger Moore, My word is my Bond.
I tryed on Bondcollectables and it was £104
The most I was looking to pay is around £60
Or would he sign if I sent him a letter through fan mail? Has anyone had any success?
Any help is great thanks.

I'm told that all fan mail letters responded to get a 'stamped' autographed reply.....but there are far more knowledgeable people on here that will help...
If you really do want a genuine one from him, then I think yes you will have to fork out a substantial amount for one circa £20 - £90, material dependant.
In the long run, I do think a signed photograph is going to be better than say a nameplate/bookpage, but it is entirely up to you. Most collectors would snap up a photograph as this can be good for investment purposes.
If I were you, I'd get one from his website for the price of your budget.
If you don't have regrets about cutting the autograph out of your RM book then I don't see why you would have regrets about this.
Hmmm... 50/50 on whether it is real or not.
Too rich for my blood.
I've taken a look at this one and I don't believe it to be authentic. I compared this example with many other examples of his signature and there are differences in them.
The price seems "iffy" but I suppose for the material it's on, then it's not going to be that expensive for a signature on a card!
this on Alex's site, and he prides himself on only selling authetic items :007)

and cheap...
the identifying clues are the "ph" and the r in Christopher...
I agree, it does look genuine.
