lol looks like a start trek TNG phaser.

my guess is its a custom build, much like the defrib in the dbs.

It's not a Taser, it's a stun gun. That being said, I don't recognize it. I agree it might be a custom prop for the movie. Also, neither a Taser or a stun gun knock people out as shown in the movie. I have been on the receiving end of both and I can tell you neither is pleasant, but you don't get knocked unconscious.

just out of curiousity, what does it feel like to get 'tasered'?

The worst five seconds of my life! :))

Two darts are fired into you. In my case, in the back. You instantly feel the impact and the electricty course through your body. You can't do anything as your muscles are frozen. I fell to the floor but was supported by two "spotters". I felt like I couldn't breathe although I know physically I could. Five seconds later it was over and you recover instantly. No real lasting after affects. Now I'm an instructor and I get to be the one who "deploys" the Taser during training for our officers. Everyone seems to have the same experience. It's hands down the best tool for law enforcement I've seen. There is a civilian model Taser out there now that looks like something from star trek for those who may be interested. Check your state laws.

I've tried to see if this was a stock prop with no luck. I've also been trying to hunt down the defibrillator DC uses in CR.

    Any ideas chaps?

ycpchief - yikes, being tasered doesn't sound as harmless as people make out!

red - from what i've heard, the defrib is most definately a custom prop build and not an existing real world product.
