Gandolfini's death was very sudden--an apparent heart attack--and 51 is far too young. . .
I was really shocked and saddened by Gandolfini's death. He was a terrific actor in the iconic role of Tony Soprano. My hopes of any kind of a Sopranos movie or reunion are forever dashed. R.I.P. to Mr. Gandolfini. He will be missed.
Jim "Enter Dragon" Kelly , 67.......never knew he had cancer
Let's hope he was "too busy looking good" when the curtain fell.
Amen to that! Not the greatest actor, nor even the best martial artist in films (he was damn good though). But Kelly had charisma and athleticism that made him stand out, and his perfomances were never less than entertaining. I'm glad I have copies of most of his films and I'll be able to continue to enjoy what he brought to the screen.
Rest well, Mr. Kelly. (Or should I say "Mr. Mister", as he was known in Three The Hard Way - because his mother wanted people to treat him with respect!) -{
Williams died too soon in 'Enter the Dragon,' and Jim Kelly died too soon in real life.

Williams died too soon in 'Enter the Dragon,' and Jim Kelly died too soon in real life.
I read recently that the original script called for Kelly and Lee to survive at the end, but apparently John Saxon and his agent felt differently. Too bad - I would love to have seen Kelly's character Williams standing side-by-side with Bruce Lee taking on Han's minions in a climactic battle.
Sorry to reaad of his death, In my younger days I was heavily in to Karate so watch loads
of movies including Black belt Jones and Enter the dragon. I remember reading that John Saxon
thought that "Enter the dragon " was a step down for him as a actor. Yet I'd say it's his most
famous role.
"I've been informed that there ARE a couple of QAnon supporters who are fairly regular posters in AJB."
Shih Kien outlived his "Enter" co-stars by far at 96.......Bolo Yeung is getting up there now (still time for Exp 3 , do you hear me , Quentin ?!)

I was deeply saddened to hear about Jim Kelly's passing as well. Enter the Dragon is one of my favorite martial arts/action films ever. I remember watching him in the documentary Bruce Lee Martial Arts Master and he mentioned that he based his character of Williams brash attitude on boxing great Muhammad Ali, under the advice of his acting coach. I would have liked to meet him very much, since he was often a guest at comic book conventions and he had a very likable persona in real life.
Whicker's World epitomised the Jet Set era of the 1960s, though they weren't all about millionaires. Of course, one programme was based around the filming of You Only Live Twice. His memoirs are well worth a read.

Genius writer of, amongst other things, the Nightmare at 20,000 feet episode of the Twilight Zone...
And Duel and Jaws, right? Sad news indeed.
I've always meant to look out for these. Will have to get them now I guess as a tribute to the man!
Goodness me. I rather missed that! Yes, he'd have been a brilliant Bond villain, no doubt.
