Had to be quick - they sold out really quickly. Dame Diana seems happy to talk about The Avengers and OHMSS these days. Saw her at the BFI a while back and she was really good fun.
Great! I hope you get to have a nice chat with her. -{
"The tough man of the world. The Secret Agent. The man who was only a silhouette." - Ian Fleming, Moonraker (1955).
Today it's six years ago the horrible terrorist attacks in Oslo and Utøya. I want to honour the 77 murdered, the heroes who escaped and the heroes who helped them. I also want to show my support for the families of the dead.
2017 seems to be trying to rival 2016. Both the great French New Wave actress Jeanne Moreau and American playwright and actor Sam Shepherd have passed on. RIP both.

Everyone gives way to time. I just watched Jeanne Moreau recently in "La Notte." I love Sam Shepard from "The Right Stuff," who of course played the true hero of that movie.

I certainly agree, Supes. That said I learned only this morning that Shepard's cause of death was ALS--otherwise Lou Gehrig's Disease or Motor Neurone Disease. It's the same illness that took my mother, and there's still no cure. If anyone is looking for a worthwhile charity. . .
I really liked Robert Hardy.
He had guest roles in Foyles War, Midsomer Murders, Lewis and Morse and he owned them!

Saddened to hear of the death of Glen Campbell. Another music legend passes.
Very sad news, I recently saw his daughter on the One Show, where I found out he had Alzheimer's. Some great tracks to play in tribute, Wichita Lineman being a highlight, RIP.

Also 35th anniversary death of Bond icon Harold Sakata.
Prince Philip attends his last official engagement today.
Here's a list of 96 gaffes in 96 years ... most very funny.
I have a lot of respect for Both Prince Philip and Her Majesty
I wish them both well and good health for many years to come.
Despite some of his Ill chosen quips I like Philip he's a good egg infact I like all the leading royals.
Also J Gardner wrote some great continuing novels.

I have no idea how often Rhinestone Cowboy played in my youth!
Dalton - the weak and weepy Bond!
That is a life choice & another story for another day!

Mistress and muse of Ian Fleming dies at 104.
Apparently she had a very good ride. RIP.
