Shirts with the "Bond" cuff

Hi All

Apart from Magnoli do any members know of anywhere that sells white shirts that have the so-called "Bond-cuff"?

That is the type of cuff seen during Sean Connery's tenure as JB.

While the Magnoli shirts look good they are somewhat expensive in my opinion.

I think Marks & Spencer also offer shirts with the turnback button cuffs.

Just had a look and they do indeed, nice one!

They call it the "cocktail cuff" and is available on their made-to-measure range.

You can always get the original Turnbull and Asser turnback cuff shirts. But if Magnoli is out of your league price wise, I'm afraid so are the T&A shirts.

Most custom/MTM shirt makers can do this cuff for you, but if $99 is too much for you, most of these shirt makers will be higher.

Two less than $99 I've found:
    Gino Tailor (Milanese): http://www.ginoshirt.com/scripts/prodList.asp?idCategory=10
Jantzen (Flow back cuff with dual buttons): http://www.jantzentailor.com/orderformmain.htm

I reckon you should buy the T&A turn back cuff, the reason I think this because it is made out of Sea island cotton, sea island cotton shines like silk but it isn't.
Also if you go to the T&A website it doesn't show the cuff.

I can't say any of my Sea Island shirts "shine," but they do feel reallllllllly soft and smooth. But if $99 is pricey for the OP, a Sea Island shirt will really be pricey. Also, you have to be careful with the tags, as "Sea Island Quality" is not the same as "Sea Island Cotton."

No, not out of my price range at all. I was just wondering if there were cheaper (but still good quality) alternatives since I usually end up buying a new batch of white shirts every 3 or 4 months. Trying to be cost-effective more than anything else.

Please understand, my statement was not meant as a "dig". Just calling it as I see it. Lord knows I work hard for my money, and I'll spend it any way I bloody well please. I wold never tolerate anyone telling me how much to spend. There is nothing wrong with being "cost effective". Do your thing, and I wish you well in your search.
