    Donald,
    The golden gun is a beautiful piece to add to any collection.
    Is it very expensive ? I have to admit to turning a little green with envy !

    Good Golly Miss Molly! I am missing my SD Golden Gun that I sold to "037"! Alas, the proceeds were to finance a Planet Ocean so I can't complain. However, DG...your GG seems to have an impression that I have yet to see on an SD GG. At the base of the handle...this must have been further along in the SD GG evolution than I am familiar with. I have never seen that before. It must be quite rare!

    Well, if memory serves, they originally cost $650.00. I have a bunch of the original promotional fliers from S.D. Studios somewhere. My first S.D. Studios purchase was the Tball rebreather followed by the, Tball radioctive pill, then the FRWL attache throwing knife mounted on a plaque. Then I broke down and bought the FRWL attache case. The Golden Gun came later from a guy on the RPF after S.D. stopped making them. I think it cost me $100.00 over the original price of $650.00. Last time I checked the S.D. Golden Guns were selling in the $3000.00 price range. I'd hate to think what the S.D. Attache case is going for now.

    I think the impression you are seeing is actually a reflection of three BW pictures of my children mounted in one frame. As for the PO, I have yet to purchase one, but I'm working on it. It's definitely a choice piece and Daniel Craig's portrayal made it so. Enjoy it in good health!

    Here is another picture of my S.D. Golden Gun pictured from left to right with a Signet first edition, an American first edition (New American Library), a first edition (Jonathan Cape) and an Easton Press first edition re-print replete with slip cover and unopened cellophane. All I need now is a gold plated Colt Single Action Army, the gun Scaramanga used in the novel and a Pan first edition.

    The Signet first is a little beat up, but my Grandmother gave me a full set of Signets when I was a wee lad. I could never part with it. Enjoy.

    Donald,
    Great to see those books ! Most of my Fleming books are signet,the only Pan I have
    managed to find so far is Thunderball,but the thrill is in the hunt.
    I am new here but have been a James Bond fan for years.My collection is small,books,dvds
    some toys,etc.so I really enjoy seeing the photos posted here .This site seems to have something for every Bond fan.

    I have been a fan for many years too, but I've also been collecting since about 1969. My collection runs the gamut, books, watches, toys, posters, props, models, comics, magazines and other ephemera, cards etc. I even have a pin set and a German FRWL movie poster that I picked up in Belgium while an Officer on a merchant ship.

    I've posted pictures of some of my watches and recently some of my props. However, the bulk of my collection has not been archived here. I do intend to post more and more pictures of my collection here in the near term.

    If by original you mean screen used, I don't have any. If by original you mean the same exact items that were used by the production company, I have many.

    Yes, I did mean screen used props.
    I am always curious as to what we all have collectively here on ajb - well, may be that can be a new thread by itself.
    Looking forward to seeing more of your collection. -{
