Levi 306 Sta-Prest, colour - sandpit

After much searching, I've just managed to acquire a pair of these from a shop in Germany. Photo shows comparison against my 306s in the Silver Birch/creme colour. They actually look a little lighter than in the photo, but compare exactly when matched against the Talamone scenes on my QoS DVD.

The jeans cost 89.90 Euros, plus 17 Euros to ship to the UK. They take PayPal and you can correspond in English if your German isn't too hot - I dealt with someone called Martin and he created an invoice for me, without me having to order through their website. I don't know whether they will ship to the US in addition to European countries.

They have the creme 306s in stock also, but only in larger sizes - remember that 306s run about 2.5" larger than the specified waist size. My actual size is a 32" so I went for 30" and they fit fine. If you want the smaller sizes in creme, Simon Ruzgar (SRuzgar) is probably your best bet, as he was for me.

Simon - No, I don't have the physical costume cards, but comparing to picture in the ebay link you've attached and taking into account photographic colour variations, they look damm close.

I'm figuring that the 306s were only made in the cream, sand, black and possibly navy?

Mantis - I would try e-mailing them first and see whether they'll ship to the US. When in the site, click on 'Kontakt' (underneath the shop title), then enter your name, e-mail address, subject and message and click on 'Absenden'.
As I said above, I never actually ordered through the site itself, because I queried the postage costs to the UK by e-mailing them first. They then offered to process the order for me without me having to do it myself through the site - they were very helpful.

that won't make sense. There are too many variables in terms of sizes and my key interest in not in clothing (with the exception of Sunspel

).

My idea was to go in 3 steps:

1. Make sure that the colour and material matches with sruzgar's costume card
2. Collect orders with sizes on AJB and payments
3. Shipping the jeans out from the store or via me

As shipping from Germany to the US is a real nightmare, it may make sense (but require additional logistics) to send the entire lot to one of you in the uS and then do the single shipments from there.

So, if it's not too urgent, please wait with your sizes and orders until we are done with step 1.

So David Schofiled bought a pair of these and compaired to the swatch in the costume card and informed me that these are not 100% screen accurate. The costume card has a slighly browner "tinge" to it but its my opiniion that these are teh closest you are going to find and in that respect I have ordered a couple of pairs with the assitance of our very own Bondtoys.

If anyone needs help obtaining these I suggest you drop him a line.

Yeah, just as Simon says.

In everyway, the Sandpit 306's seem spot on to all photos and video I've seen of the pants. They are exactly the same fit as the Haiti creme 306, naturally.

Bu they are paler than the swatch on the Costume Card. The Costume Card colour is browner, more biscuity.

Sadly, the only photos I've got of the card against the trousers are those I've emailed to Simon. They're pretty bad camera phone shots but if Simon wants to upload (?) them here, please do... (Technologically that's way beyond MY capabilities).

Hopefully, I'll take some better photos soon.

But as Simon indicates, they are probably as close as anyone's likely to get now. And without that damn Costume Card, I'd have thought they were spot on X-(

I just received my pair of 306s from Germany; I ordered the 33/34 because they are supposed to be 2 in. larger than US sizing. Wrong; I think they run true to size because they are too small for me.

I am willing to sell them for what I paid: 125 euros, including shipping. Please. someone take these off my hands so I don't have to spend another 25 euros for shipping back to Germany. (Also, the color and pockets are a great match, but these pants are slim-fit.)

I'd just give you guys a warning:

99% of all electronic shops over the shop/strato webpage are considered to be fraud.

So, please be very carefully.
Besides this, I have called the mentioned "Get a Life" shop in Berlin during my research for Mantis and Sruzgar and they don't ship directly to the US.
