Church's Presleys

It was suggested to me to contact Herring's shoes and see if they could still get a pair of these.

There response to me was :They may be able to make it for you, but this would be bespoke. Which colour and finish would you like?

While I don't know if I could even afford "bespoke", besides the fact that they are black in TWINE ( was there a brown model to?), I don't know what finish it was.

Can anyone help?

Yes Bond wore a brown with his linen suit in TWINE.

While they state "bespoke" I am guessing they mean making up a pair of a discontinued model of shoe especially for you. That being the case I doubt they are going to incurr any major additional cost to producing your shoe over current models - afterall they are all handmade by Church's.

That said I strongly suspect they will charge you a bit of a premium on the top of whatever standard price one would expect to pay for such a pair of monk shoes from Church's.

I would be interested to know how much they are asking for - I would expect to see something knocking the £400 mark!
