  Btw I'm pretty sure Jeremy Clarkson is a big Bond fan, based on his wearing both the Brosnan-era SMP and the Craig Planet Ocean.

  Other notables I can think of found wearing the SMP would be Prince William and Joe Biden (both blue SMP).

  in my mind though, all these seamy wearers can easily afford it, so for them, buying a seamy to show they love bond isn't really a great sign of fan..boy....ism? (sorry, too early to think of big words). i could just be that they like the watch outright.
  
  i'd say its a bigger statement when the wearer had to save up for their seamy, as to all the above listed celebs, the price of a seamy is peanuts.

  I can't begrudge a celeb for that. If anything, you could argue they are equally showing their devotion or interest because they easily have the $$ to buy a watch that's 5x more expensive, like a Girard- Perregaux, but choose to get a Seamaster.
  
  I just love seeing that Seamaster bracelet on the wrist of someone wearing a formal suit tho. Damn thing's an elaborate beauty =D
