7 For all Mankind almost half price

I was at a Century 21 store today in NJ...they sell these brands of jeans. They had some Mercer...just not any in my size...the price was around $80! Can't beat that...just thought I'd give everyone a heads up.

The only Century 21 I know is the realtor. Is this only on the coast?

It's a store in the NY metro area that sells discounted designer clothing. Josh, which location?

I was at the one in Morristown, NJ. If I remember right they only had size 34 inch waist in stock. Unless it rains I'll be heading into NYC Saturday to check that one as well.

Is this coupon for 7 stores only or where ever you buy 7 clothing, i.e. Tobi. I ask because, online anyway, 7's standard in mercer does not have the double belt loop in back, but the ones Tobi sells do.

Yeah, only through the 7FAM online store... which also has free shipping right now. Sorry mate.

They might have at one time, but the standard mercer jeans I received from Tobi in June did not have the double loop at the back.

So, does this mean that I should just go with the 7 deal and get it from them directly?

I dont know of any source for QoS film accurate 7FAMK jeans. By all means try directly, but I believe they are no longer available. Happy to be wrong on this though.

    Aussie,

According to my research you are correct. It appears that 7 has switched up some features on these jeans from what appeared in "QoS," which I believe has been noted in another thread here. The most noticable differences are the top blue button has been replaced with a standard brass-finish button, and a single belt loop has replaced the double belt loops on the back. Recently, I have only seen the blue button on the bootcut version of these jeans, not the straight leg standards. My local 7 shop doesn't even carry the Standard in Mercer.

    Kind regards,
    Craig

OK, thanks 00 Aussie and DBS, I guess I'll just go with the closest that is currently available and take advantage of the discount. I guess part of the problem (my problem) with getting into the game late is that a good deal of time has already elapsed since the release of the film and slowly, but surely items are being altered or not available. I guess I'll have to be on the ball next time around!

    Oracabessa,

It seems to be hit or miss getting the correct 7 Jeans. I bought a pair from Tobi in March that were the correct ones but when I bought a pair in June, they were a standard pair without the extra belt loop or blue top button and rivets. It took me six months to get a correct pair, I hope you have better luck than I did. Happy Hunting.

PS - Here's the correct style number you'll be looking for: T519C080U. Cut Number should be: 716715

Thanks for the info. I'll be ordering today.

    JB1962,

Is there a difference bewteen T519C080U (what you gave me) and T519080U (what 7FAMK had on their site). Obviously, there is a C in the SKU you gave me that's not on the one the site lists. Does this mean anything, does it reflect the previously mentioned changes?
  • OracabessaOracabessa Barrington, Rhode Island, USAPosts: 88MI6 Agent
Well, I bough them from 7FAMK to take advantage of the 20% off. We'll see what they're like when I get them.

The pair of 7 jeans I recently purchased from Neiman Marcus have the sku #T51908OU and these have the single belt loop in the back and the top brass button in the front, as noted above. Honestly, they look identical to the what's on screen though - the "7" red & yellow tags and stitching on the back pockets are the same. If you're going for the untucked polo look as DC wears them in "QoS," you don't see the belt loops or the top button anyway.

    Kind regards,
    Craig

    Oracabessa,

The C in style number is what you're looking for, it's the screen accurate style number with extra belt loop, etc. The style # T51908OU is the standard Mercer style number.

DBS, that's what my thought was and I figured it made sense to go with the discount as well.

    Thanks JB1962.

I figured it was something like that, but for example, Tobi doesn't use the 7FAMK SKU, so it's hard to tell which variety it is (though the image on the site shows two loops). I guess it's harder to discern when buying online. However, here in R.I. I think I'd need to go up to Boston, CT or NYC to find stores that have 7FAMK or other higher end items.
