Actually Jaws' steel choppers was influenced by the villian Sol Horror in Fleming's The Spy Who Loved Me, he had steel capped teeth.

loving the tailors modifying vests / shirts and hats .. great stuff...

that image reminds me of the bit in the Casino Royale spoof.. when Peter Sellers as Bond is getting measured up in the Q lab for his gadgets etc... and Q and his assistant are more like the FAST SHOW ''Suit You , Sir'' tailors..... Suit you Mr, Sellers sir, Ohh

The steel lined bowler reminds me of John Steeds', in The Avengers.

    Thanks Ed.
Strange you should have just posted the piece about 'Jaws' teeth. Richard Kiel was here in Montana last weekend, at a nightime Golf Tournament. Is there a date on the article about 'Stainless Choppers', or do you you know which paper/magazine it was in?

It was an article in the April 1957 issue of Modern Mechanix.
Just type in "stainless steel choppers" into google and it'll come up if you want to check out other wierd items.
