The Mantis' recent posting of his custom Quantum of Solace figure reminded me to finally post my custom, which I finished last June. The shirt and pants are from the Loading Toys Dangerous Man set.
The Craig sculpt is from the Hot Toys F4 Pilot figure, repainted, with a neck adaptor for a BBI body; good luck on finding one, which I ended up paying around $30 just for the sculpt. To acheive Craig's muscular physique, I used a body from the NYPD Officer figure made by Blue Box Toys, which has seamless “Gumby” rubber arms, that I’ve also repainted; BBI also produced other law enforcement figures having these arms, because they come in short-sleeved uniforms. I had to buy a neck adaptor from eBay since the body and head were made by different figure companies. I covered the torso with a nylon t-shirt from the spares box that I sprayed black, which I then taped onto the figure, which I then stuffed with batting.
The Loading Toys shirt was too sheer which is why I had to re-color the nylon t-shirt underneath to black, and unfortunately, the whiteness of the pants sometimes shows through depending on the lighting (I confess to photoshopping out the "white"). I used white spray paint for the jeans, which surprisingly soaked up the paint and therefore required several coatings just to get a solid white...making the jeans just as solid! More unfortunately, this caused the legs to be utterly unmovable and I had to use pliers to pull the pant legs down to cover the boot top. Also, this caused poor mini Danny to look like he had a war injury in the crotch area
The boots are from the spares box, repainted in the brown of the Church boots Craig wore. I toyed with the idea of making shoes from scratch since I could not find 1/6 boots that were close, so I just looked for a pair that more or less had the shape of the Church boots, though there are too many lace eyelets in this pair.
The base began as a clear acrylic disc. I then looked for an image of tiled floors resembling the dingy ones in the Port-au-Prince hotel, which I then printed and glued onto the disc, and then weathered. The watch is from the Sideshow Connery figure in TB scuba gear and I added the PPK for artistic license, since this movie marked the return of Bond’s famous pistol. I hope you guys like it!

I think it came out excellent. Great work!
