BTW, flipping the script, I think "Everything or Nothing" would be an awesome movie!
OHMSS could make a wonderful game.
Goldfinger has the opening PTS (stealth action to infiltrate and destroy the heroin plant and a fistfight), the section in Miami (Bond snooping around in the hotel until he find's Goldfinger's suite), the golf game (why not have a nice relaxing golf minigame interlude), a car chase thru the alps, Bond snooping around Goldfinger's gold smelting facility, the car chase thru the facility, and some action sequences at Goldfinger's stud farm, Fort Knox (with a minigame where Bond must defuse the bomb), and a final confrontation on the plane. That's nine levels right there.
As to TSWLM, you could have the ski chase PTS, the encounters in Egypt, the fight on the train, the car chase with the Lotus Esprit, the underwater battle (even though that was already done in Nightfire), and the action sequences on the Liparus and Atlantis at the end. TSWLM would be doubly fun since we never got a Roger Moore themed game on the newer consoles.
*Bond's fake death in China.
*The arrival at Tokyo
*Finding Tiger Tanaka
*Pursue Dikko's murderer.
*Infiltrate the Osato building.
*Escape from the Japanese docks.
*Escape Helga Brandt's plane trap.
*The air battle with the helicopter.
*Ninja training.
*Climbing up the volcano lair.
*Rescue the astronauts.
*Disactivate the SPECTRE rocket.
*Duel with Blofeld (Not in the movie but It would fit)
*Escape from volcano lair
FRWL (Done right!)
Goldfinger
Thunderball (can you imagine the underwater battle?)
YOLT
OHMSS
DAF (could make a really quirky game.)
LALD
TSWLM
TLD
I would probably faint if I saw faithfully produced games that let a player take control of Lazenby, Moore, or Dalton!
I like that idea, Thunderball would pretty ideal for that since it's set on an island and Bond had to contact Domino and such, there could be lots of missions with Leiter scoping out S.P.E.C.T.R.E. strongholds and of course tailing Domino.
Moonraker, Imagine the laser guns and the Bondola!
There was more than enought material on that film to fit it on an awesome game. Just imagine to play this missions:
- The surfing-infiltration on north korea to supplant Van Bierk
- Crl. Moon headquarters
- Hovercraft chase
- Escaping from the hospital ship
- Los organos island clinic
- The virtual training on mi6
- The fencing scene!!!!!!
- Iceland sneaking
- Gustav Graves headquarters
- Icarus chase
- Aston martin vs jaguar fight
- North Korean airbase
- Antonov fight
Perhaps its not too late, if they made FRWL....
1. M mentioned that Bond 'lost' both legs during a war game after stepping on a land mine on the Black-Sea Beach. That scenario could be turned into a level.
2. The scene that plays out during the opening, where Bond sneaks into the old house to rescue the brainwashed girl who's tied to the bed.
3. A stealth mission, where Bond sneaks around Shrublands after hearing the tension between Fatima and Jack. He has to avoid being seen until he reaches their window.
4. Boss Battle One: Lippe. Bond has to avoid being slashed as they make their way through the clinic. When they reach the room, a cinematic scene plays where Bond throws the contents of the beaker into Lippe's eyes.
5. Bond and Fatima go underwater diving in The Bahamas, but sharks soon pursue Bond as Fatima disappears. Bond has to evade the sharks and use whatever objects necessary to immobilize them.
6. Bond enters the casino. This level could be similar to The Embassy Function level from Mission: Impossible 64. He has to go around, asking people questions about Domino's location. When he finds her, Bond meets Largo for the first time and plays Domination with him.
7. Bond returns to the villa and finds that Nicole has been murdered. Getting on his bike, he goes in pursuit of Fatima. Your objective here is not to lose sight of her as you go through the streets of Nice, France. The chase ends when Bond is lead into the back of a truck, but he manages to escape. This time Fatima and her goons are chasing after you. Bond has to shoot the thugs's cars off the road while also managing not to crash his bike. Finally, he's in pursuit of Fatima again, and the chase ends when they reach a particular building.
8. Boss Battle Two: Fatima Blush. Bond is knocked off his bike and is being shot at by Fatima. He has to avoid being shot, using obstacles, until he finds a chance to shoot her with his Missle Pen.
9. Bond sneaks onto The Flying Saucer, Largo's Yacht. He has to avoid being seen, making his way through the spacious ship, until he reaches Domino in her dance room. Largo finds them and takes the ship to his private castle in North Africa.
10. In his prison cell, Bond has to avoid being seen by a guard who checks periodically as he tries to break open his chains. When the guard sees that Bond has snuck out the window, he must do away with him then. Bond steals a horse, rescues Domino, and must fight his way through the Arabs until they reach the top of the castle, where they dive into the water.
11. Bond and Felix Leiter sneak into the underground cave on their special jetpacks and must create a distraction. You must fight your way through numerous enemies till you reach Largo, who goes underwater with the nuclear bomb.
12. Boss Battle Three: Largo. I haven't thought of this one yet. I suppose it could deal with Bond, avoiding obstacles, as he follows Largo to the end. A cinematic scene plays out, where Domino saves Bond from death.
13. I wasn't a fan of the recreation of the Arkanghelsk levels in the new Goldeneye. A modified replica of the Dam, Facility, and Runway (with some added features) from Goldeneye 64 would be bonus levels.
