  I think you might be mixing up the scenes. Bond wore the Nike Air Articulate 2's during the Venice scenes at the end of "Casino Royale." He wore the Jack Purcell OTR boots in the opening Madagascar sequence.
  
  Great find though! Those shoes are getting really tough to find.

  Yeah I was referring to the Venice scene. In the making as DC dives into the water to rescue Vesper drowning in the lift, you see the soles of the shoes as he swims down and they aren't Nikes?

  Hmmm, perhaps a continuity flaw. I would imagine that a stunt double performed that dive, so he might have been wearing a different type of shoe than DC - but that would be surprising. I have that Special Edition on Blu-ray as well, so I'll take a look at it tonight. Do you have the ability to take HD screen caps? Unfortunately, I don't, but it would be great to post pics here for all to see.

  Hasn't there always been some dispute about whether these shoes are actually black or grey?

  Bond wear Nike Air articulate II in Venice Scenes. You can see it in this picture:

  The color is grey. I have a pair of Nike Air (not articulate) in this color. It is made with a grey suede.
  I was looking for this nike for 2 years and I found Nike air articulate in several materials but not this exact grey suede.
  Then I get another model made with the same suede and I buyed it. It isn't the same Nike but the "look" is the same. )
