Pendragon's bed, where she writhed and wiggled beneath me...

Actually that's not true. She wasn't there, she was in the dining hall... still, should be safe for another hour or two. :D

That was vaguely interesting? Witnessing the commissioning of a hydrolance hose in a cooling pond this morning, with high levels of airborne contamination, in two sets of coveralls and a respirator.

If literal, babysitting my friends' three young girls... I do know what iCarly is now, though, so everyday's a school day!

It's funny...my sister-in-law works for Nickelodeon...a year ago in May, I went out to LA to hang with my brother and try to get a script sold. The day I got there, I got to tour the sets of iCarly, and was introduced to the two young actresses who star on the show. They were sitting in director's-style chairs, busily reading their script...my sister-in-law told them: "This is my brother-in-law, Mark." They both looked up, very nice, waved and smiled---but I could tell they were very busy, and preoccupied. I'm embarrassed to say, I didn't know who they were at the time ;% But now the show's been on a while, and my boys are fans...so every time I see them it's a bit of deja vu ;%

Last place I went was the hospital a week ago today. Had the Achilles Tendon repaired. Was released two days later and have been home doing nothing ever since. As soon as I can leave, I may never come back. Stir crazy, it's not fun.

I went to this last night.

I'm not even a U2 fan, their music to me is very overrated, either that, or the style isn't my cuppa.

However when a good friend offers you free tickets (!) and a ride with his pretty lady friends. (sorry NP couldn't have been there) :D You don't refuse. Anyway, it was a huge event. People camping out early in the day.

(Suppose this should be in the concert thread, but my head still aches, so the hell with it :D

Sunday was spent at the IWM outstation at Duxford, for their autumn air show, not the greatest weather but a great show.

Tomorrow- recording show for local radio station. Have just finished 3 week season on Bond music, now starting 3 week season on Genesis. My show concentrates on rarer material (B-sides, live versions, etc) and is broadcast on http://www.pulseonair.co.uk/ at 21.00 or 22.00 (depending on whether the preceding show is a 1-hour or 2-hour edition) GMT on Wednesdays, with a repeat on Thursdays..

In the evening, performing with assorted friends at local hostelry.

I went into the front room with a view to phoning around some magazines to see if they needed any sub-editors, but instead spent an hour or two staring into space, thinking about my life. :s

When the crowd finally realised NP wasn't going to jump and was merely thinking, they waited for his conclusion with baited breath....
