I like halloween but i am too old
I like dropping water balloons at trick or treaters!
The get so wet their face paint runs it's so funny

let's see.
1) gonna decorate the yard with dad like always
2) dress up (as a browncoat), just for laughs.
3) give out candy for a few hours
4) go to my friend's house and get shitfaced at his party

POSSIBLY going to a rave the night before, but we'll have to see...

Bah, not doing anything. Funny story though. Many Halloweens ago (like, way back in the 1900s) my dad was sleeping during the trick or treat festivities in his neighborhood (he worked the night shift). Some trick or treaters came to the door and woke him up, so he told them just a minute. He ran to his bedroom, took out his false teeth and quickly put on some green make-up. He threw on a robe and went to the front door, opened it and yelled boo. Exposing the 4 teeth he had in his mouth. His hair was messed up to. From that day forward no trick or treater stepped foot on his doorstep. Wish I could of actually been there.

my dad has a habit of hiding behind the trash cans in a striped, red hooded mountain man overcoat with a hockey mask and MY Machete...which is covered in rust. he then chases the kids down the block. It's become somewhat of a dare of the neighbor kids and anyone else who comes to my neighborhood to go up to our house and see weather or not he's there. 8-)

It's traditional here in this part of Scotland for the kids to dress up, come to one's door, then sing a song, tell a joke, do a dance, etc. In recent years, though, they tend to do the bare minimum of costuming then knock the door and hold out their hand. Maybe I'm just getting old!

Same with Christmas carols, today it's one verse if you're lucky (and they know it wordperfect) and that's it. When I was moonlighting (from being a choirboy) it was 3 carols at least - it used to be easy money in those days (1960s), and the "customer" got value for it.

For four years, my wife and I lived above a funeral home...talk about stories to tell! We lived virtually rent free for that time period...but we earned our keep by being 'on call' to answer the phone every other night and every other weekend... doing basic housekeeping downstairs---and occasionally letting in a new 'customer' in the small hours of the morning

It's how we saved for the down-payment of our house...

Believe me, we threw the BEST Halloween Party in town :v We had a veranda on the roof of the place, which was basically a 150 year-old huge house. To get to our apartment, you had to ascend a stairway up the back side of the building...we used to pipe spooky music and sound effects out for anyone arriving at the party...Great Memories... B-)

) And it's not even dark yet :v Note the inflatable Frankenstein in the background, standing guard over our front yard...

Guess I'd better get used to that---I'm sure somebody who lives in Miami Beach is going to tell me that there's no Pelican Bar & Grill at the corner of 15th Street and Ocean Drive...and that the Drake Hotel/condo has been there since the mid-1930s...that I can handle with artistic licence...but I do want to get the Black Forest right... ;%

infact it IS. It is the farthest southeast Germany as you can get.

it's a bit like the "southerness" of KY and VA. There is one in the West (Baden-Württemberg where the black forest is) and one in the east (Bavaria).

Don't blame me for being picky with german geography. My father is a judge and freaked out, when we did mistakes like this when we were kids. I think, that I'll never get over this
