I've been out of the loop for a couple of years since the last Bond film. I'm truly hoping to see another within the year.

Since I last posted I've had a heart attack and quad bypass surgery. I'm doing great, stopped smoking for over a year now (since my little incident), exercising, and eating right.

A few months ago I bought a house and have finally settled in and am quite happy with it.

I've joined AJB forums a week or so ago so I guess I'd better introduce myself. If Smiert Spionam is too long winded then just call me Tom! My top 3 favourite Bond films are:

    From Russia With Love
    Licence to Kill
    Casino Royale

Other films I love and enjoy are:

    Any Monty Python Film
    Jurassic Park
    Dark Knight
    Die Hard 1/2/3
One Flew Over the Cuckoos nest.

    I'm hoping to stay a member on here for a long time to come. Seems a very friendly place to discuss my admiration of everything 007! -{

As Asked by Chief Of Staff, have moved My introduction to this Forum.
Although Im puzzled Why my Avatar Picture is so small, its 60x60, but doesnt fill the Square?

Hi, I Joined recently But can't seem to find a text window in my profile to do an introduction of myself, perhaps a mod, can help me or move this to right area:P

Well, Im here, and im one of the biggest james Bond fan out there, since 1963, (giving my age away now). Thunderball I first saw at our local Eastbourne Odeon, got me hooked into 007, and I used to come out, and thrashed my Lambretta SX200 down the road, at 17, your full of Ego ajb007/lol No helmet of course, wasnt a requirement in the late sixties and seventies.

Cut a long story short, My affair with Bond has been a very long one, I own several Vinyl Record Soundtracks, originals, from when I worked in W.H. Smith. "The man with golden gun" "Goldfinger" etc. I will post other collection pieces in appropiate forum later.

Unfortunetly I havent had the pleasure of meeting many 007 actors, apart from Miss moneypenny, louis maxwell at the NEC Arena, and Caroline Munro, (helicopter pilot "Spy Who loved me") but I did sit in the DB5 for a £1 charity and swooned at the beauty of the david brown Steering Wheel ajb007/smile

The definitive time in my life that 007 took over my life, was in 1989, the day the berlin wall fell. I fell in love with the "Living daylights" seeing part of the film was filmed at beachy head (the malta Land Rover), I decided to take a trip of a lifetime, and after I came into some inheritance, I planned A drive and a stay for 3 weeks in Vienna, including christmas and New year. I bought an almost brand new vauxhall cavalier, in 1989, they cost around £3000! An Amstrad Camcorder, Booked My hovercraft ticket from Dover and the Hotel Annanis in Vienna.

I drove through many countries, staying at german motorway motels, before turning East from Salzburg To Vienna.
After settling in, I made my way, first to the schonbrunn palace, when Bond first arrived with kara on the back of that lorry!
it was very differant than when The Film was made, because this wasn't summer, it was Christmas and -5c with light snow, But enjoyed my visit and a carriage ride around the inner circle Tours.

The next day I was on my way to the Prater park, to see the Big Wheel and the funfair, this was awesome, And I actually rode one of the dodgem cars, near the wheel, just as 007 and kara did. I also saw the gargoyle from the ghost train, the souvenier shop under the Wheel is real, But the Prater Cafe, Where saunders gets Killed By Necros, was filmed in an entirely differant area. but still couldnt resist saying to myself "Balloon mein heir"! ajb007/lol

In all, it was a great experiance and met many locals who told me where and what was filmed. In total I drove 3,500 miles there and back, I would have loved to visit Bratislava, across the Danube, But I needed a Visa to enter that country which I didnt have.

Its great to be here, and I hope to share many aspects of my long affair with Bond, Moonraker5 I actually use for many user names on the Internet for 10 years. I have made several Virtual exhibitions of Bond items in Second Life, including The whole Island of "Man with the golden gun". I attach some pics of Scaramangers Hideout me and my second life Partner made one day. I also had made a Virtual Golden gun by another friend. it rests in a crows beak on a plinth surrounded by red and black triangles and strobe lights.

Anyway, thanks for listening to my Introduction, and hope to contribute quite a lot in the future. Signature will follow soon:

    regards Mike ajb007/martini

Thanks for the Welcome fellow Agents :)

Forgot to mention, Was gobsmacked one day, when Honor Blackman came shopping in the Garden Centre I worked at, In London some years ago :o

Hoping to design my own Signature banner soon, once my original text one starts Showing.

Question? is Pictures , Atachments allowed in most of the Forums? I keep most of mine on photobucket and my own StreamHoster account, where I stream Mp4s, Jpgs, and .wav sound files into Second life.

Im in process of making a Utube presentation of completed Collections of "The james Bond collection vehicles", together with extra media:P
So far, Im ready to start filming the "Diamonds Are Forever" vehicles, as have all the ones Available, I just need the Lightweight jeep (Hurcules end scene) from "Living daylights" to start production. Not sure wether links to my own work on Utube is allowed, have to do some digging up of rules and stuff, still a newbie here after all :))

welcome back, Herr Michael! happy to hear you are healthy and happy!!

and welcome to the forums, Smiert-Spionam and ClassicRoyale! great to have you aboard!

Classic Royale: as photos go, we are not supposed to post official photos that belong to EON and MGM, however, I believe links to these images are allowed (check with a mod on that...I'm a bit rusty on rules)

links to your own work are just fine :) that sort of thing is common around here.

looking forward to seeing your photos and videos!

Thanks Pendragon, almost any photos submitted will be my own, the re-Creation of Khao PhingKan Island, My Luxury Cruiser In Second Life, The nameplate on the back was modified to read "Disco Volante" "Panama". Utube Presentations will by like several others I have seen sporting the Bond Collection Vehicles, but unlike some, who include quite a lot of mins of actual film Video footage, mine will be more like a slide show, filmed in an Ebay photo booth, but with special Audio clips attached to each frame. You can put a disclaimer or a screen caption on utube, naming rights of certain aspects belong to UA MGM and defining it as a non profit Presentation, in facts its advertizing Both "James Bond Collection cars" and the JB franchise, free advertizing. But in practice millions of Utube users, post huge amounts of music and videos which are really copyrighted stuff, apart from Tutorials which is an entirely differant matter, as long as its your own tutorial and no ones else. Its links from other sites that cause many a problem in Forums, and one I Belong too, has many a headache sifting through new posts, looking for possible infringements.

    Hi everyone, I'm also new.

I am Ralph, 31 years old and father of 3 girls named Guinnevere (4 years old) and Yelena (born last week).
I live in Holland, in a small village between Arnhem and the German border.
    I don't realy have a job and I consider myself a stay-at-home-dad

I have always loved the movies and books about James bond so I thought this was a great place to visit, I don't realy have a favorite movie.

Things I love to do are being creative so I write and draw alot, Target shooting (because of the law over here I only shoot airguns), martial arts and games

Hi there, I've been browsing here for a while and I thought I would take the plunge and register.

My username is Dalton Craig, my real name is Eamon, I'm from Ireland, I am 27 years old and I have been a huge fan of 007 ever since I was four years old. I bow at the altar of Connery, Dalton and Craig (I have a soft spot for Pierce as well though), my favourite movies are Goldinger, You Only Live Twice, For Your Eyes Only, both Dalton movies, Goldeneye, Tomorrow Never Dies and both Craig's.

With the 50th anniversary coming up I thought it was time for me to start mixing with other Bond fans and to start getting hyped up for Skyfall. I hope we get on very well and I can't wait to start talking all things Bond.
